3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beer3000 (3718) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 9, 2013
330 ml bottle. Slightly foggy orange body with a fast disappearing white head. Nice aroma of oranges, marmalade, ripe fruit and sweet pale malt. Flavor is sweet malty, quite bitter and citric fruit. A fine body with a nice and bitter aftertaste. Nothing really here that reminds me of a lager/pils but a nice beer anyway. [short review due to it coming from my backlog] ;-)

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via the Brewdog online shop. Slightly hazy gold, thin head. Sweet aroma, some bright hops and caramel. Somewhat sweet flavour, then an earthy somewhat skunkiness. Finish is long and bitter.

Bottle @ Beer Temple. Lager whale! The pour’s deep amber, slightly hazy. Massive orange-white head. The nose is toasted grains, some orange peel, grass and honey. The taste is more toasted grain, sweet syrup, honeyed brown bread. Mildly syrupy body. Easy drinking. Overall, decent. Sweet.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gr0ve (2038) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2012
Draught. Crystal clear golden. Bold malty nose. Lots of light caramel. Unfortunately a little too sweet and not particularly well balanced. Could have use a lot more hops. Not a favourite.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (10754) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle, from a trade with Papsoe. An almost clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Lots of orange on the nose, rather fruity all over actually, with some malty sugary scents as well. The flavor has pale malts in the back, it’s quite sweet, but with enough fruityness, pinecones and bitterness to balance it. Medium to full body, dryish on the palate. Don’t really know what it was, but I was sort of surprised by this one. It’s not a fantastic beer in any way, but it’s quite tasteful, and drinks easy. 120203
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sizzler80 (299) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 18, 2012
Dark amber pour with a good white head and lacing. Bursting with aromas of hops, orange, pine, grapefruit, caramel. Alcohol warmth is prevelent. Mostly bitter on the palate, slightly sweet from fruit with a hint of caramel. The taste profile is more subdued. Good Pilsner from BrewDog, nothing more.

Bottle from Khioshk in Copenhagen. It poured a very hazy golden-orange liquid with a big dirty white head. Some yeast on the bottom. Malty smell with bread, flowers and some hops. Hoppy taste, with grass, fruits and grapefruit. Nice and hoppy lager.

a decent beer from brewdog, not a classic by any stretch but very drinkable. would definitely have more than one in a session. not seen it in a while but would be a welcome return to the roster

Courtesy of Jan (fonefan), bb 27-03-12 Cloudy deep blond color; medium sized compact head. Deep aroma, malt, with grassy and dusty hop. Strong malt flavor, and strong bitterness; there is a grainy, cereal touch, and the mouthfeel is somehow too oily. Excessive.
