Bottle from Systembolaget. Drank as BrewDog Santa Paws. Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aroma has malt, chocolate, dark bread and coffee. Taste has chocolate, dark bread, dark fruits, sweet maltiness and some coffee. A bit watery, but it doesn’t bother ´me in this beer. I could imagine myself drinking this during Christmas time.

Kirkas, tummanruskea olut ei juuri vaahtoa. Tuoksu varsin tuhdin maltainen, suklainen ja joululimppuinen sekä kahvinen. Kuitenkin erittäin pehmeä kokonaisuus. Maku jatkaa tuoksun linjoilla kahvisuuden korostuessa. Loppupuoleltaan kokonaisuus kuitenkin vesittyy hieman, eikä yllä aivan loistavan tuoksun tasolle. Kuitenkin erittäin laadukas maitokauppatuote.

The aroma is full of notes of caramel, hazelnuts, smoke, butter and citrus. The color is pitch black with a minimal, brownish and frothy head. The taste is full of caramel, smoke, butter and dried fruits. Not my kind of beer.

Drink as BrewDog Santa Paws (4.5%) Look: dark brown with red shades, strong beige head. Aroma: roasted bread, bisquits, light spicy notes. Taste: sweet with dark fruit tartness. Finish is slightly hoppy, with spicy and grassy hops. Not bad.

BOTTLE 33 CL as Santa Paws. Clear dark ruby-brown, long lasting beige head. Moderate dark treacle and somewhat toasty bread aroma, hints of earthy hops. Similar taste, almost as clean as a dunkel. Mild spicy bitterness. Simple, but not bad.

Bottle, 4.5% as Brewdog Santa Paws. Mild malty aroma. Clear dark reddish red brown colour. Small tan head. OK malty aroma, turning watery after a bit. Spicy hoppiness in the finish. Roasted aftertaste, almost bitter as from roasted barley. Slightly dusty. Nice and pleasant, but not exactly powerful.

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Pours Deep Brown with a large, initially frothy settling as a creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, milky chocolate, a hint of Vanilla and cinnamon. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has dry maltiness, caramel, fresh walnuts. Doughy and caramelly. Dry but rather short finish.

Santa Paws, Lotto 662 Best Before 03/12/16. Corpo medio, ben carbonata.
