Dark. Porter lite. Bit thin. Tastes ok but feels more like a 3.8%. Almost... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle bb06/15, Stadelbauer. As Santa Paws (4.5%). Thin black.brown pour. Metallic nose and taste of red berries sunken into charred malt, some liquorice and hints of coffee. Really missing a sweeter, rounder malt character and mouthfeel here - hard to warm to this in any way: seems to lack a personality, although subtle hop and malt flavours are there. Aptly dubebd baby. Pours, drinks and feels much like a sterile thin porter, not a Scotch/Brown ale or warming Xmas seasonal in any way.

Cervesa molt suau, bastant pobre tant de gust com d’aroma. Cerveza muy suave, bastante pobre tanto en sabor como en aroma.

Bottle as Santa Paws. Pours a very dark almost black colour. Aroma. Smells like licorice with some espresso notes as well Taste. strait away i get a hit of licorice, followed by strong espresso flavours with a nice milkiness to balance it all out, quite similar to alot of stouts and porters iv’e had.

Mmm, det här var en maltig sak, aromen och smaken gick hand i hand, så att säga, alltså var maltigheten allsmäktig??? Kroppen var förvånansvärt stor med tanke på alkoholhalten dock sken balansen med sin frånvaro.

Bottle, as Santa Paws 4.5. Pours dark brown, almost black, with medium tan head. Aroma of yeast, plums and dark chocolate. Taste is mostly bitter, burnt malt and dark chocolate. Some notes of peanuts in the aftertaste. Medium body, thin carbonation. It’s like a low alcohol imperial stout...

33 cl bottle as Santa Paws from Uba ja Humal in Tallinn (€ 2.19 - on sale). Opened 9.5 months before BB date. Dark brown with a hue of red, clear, head light cream with good retention and some lacing. Quite a nice roasty aroma with notes of blackcurrants, peat, burnt honey. Delicate sweetness. Chocolate as it warms. Pretty good, nuanced aroma. Taste is roasted malts, watered down caramel and molasses, bitter chocolate, cold coffee, and some herbal bitterness to follow. Body medium, soft carbonation. Finishes dry with a bit of a grainy mouthfeel. It gives off - both in taste and aroma - some strange herbal / medicinal notes later as it’s warmed… raw chcocolate comes to mind… It’s okay overall but I can’t seem to enjoy it much.
