JMFG (1514), Florida, USA Apr 28, 2009 Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Clear light straw color, very mild aroma, slightly chalky, floral, yeasty, some diacetyl. Very little juniper on the taste, safe for the mild finish. Pretty uneventful. KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway Apr 22, 2009 Bottle - one of the three "test beers".
Citrus - clementines, oranges and some bitter pee. Full body, but not overwhelming. This is a bit cloying, it does not have enough hops to make it truly memorable. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 11, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear yellow with a somewhat rough off-white head. Strange aroma of fruit and butter. Medium body, lightly tart citrus, cardboard and butter. Fairly hoppy also. Strange, unbalanced and unclean. 070209 iowaherkeye (1832), Bakersfield, California, USA Mar 6, 2009 No label, orange cap from cgarvieuk--thanks Craig! Clear golden with a one finger white head, decent retention. Aroma of honey, a little wheat, and some faint floral notes. Flavor adds a bit of bitter lemon peel, but I dunno if I’d been able to pick it out without having read the description. There is still a floral note and light earth showing up toward the semi-dry finish, and bitterness peaked around a 2-3. Light prickly carbonation with a light body. Not too bad, but I wouldn’t care to revisit it again, especially since it probably costs $5 per bottle--though I’m told it lost in the Prototype series, so I won’t get it anyway. . . GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 24, 2009 Thanks to TheCheeseman for this one. All three, appearance, flavor and aroma are light on this one. Aroma is almost undetectable, with some lemon and bread. Flavor is light and watery with a little yeast and lemon. Overall, could use a little more power. Theis (3617), Denmark Feb 13, 2009 Bottle in IC-train going to Kolding - thanks yespr. Clear golden - white head. Sweetness, beaver, knækbrød (swedish flatbread), grainy, wheaty, spicy, hairy, toasted, caramel, ashtray, grass, grape, zesty. Wierd. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 8, 2009 Bottle, thanks to yespr for sharing.
Clear yellow coloured with a small white head.
Swet and fruity aroma of caramel, ash tray and butterscotsch.
Fruity flavour of caramel, ash tray, grass, hops and grape fruits.
Dry hoppy finish. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 7, 2009 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma sweet buttery combined with notes of elderberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, elderflowers, and wheat, leading to a lightly tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
