3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours caramel coloured with an off-white head. Peaty aroma with nice Islay whisky influences. Delicious flavours from the Laphroaig casks dominates. Malty and fruity notes in the background, some hops too. Finishes fairly dry with a noticable bitterness. Well balaced and surprisingly flavourful. Certainly a nice one for Islay whisky lovers.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at BrewDog, Newcastle on 29 July 2013.
Poured a copper colour with a thin, but dense white head and good lacing. Aroma is big peat and Islay whisky, rubbing alcohol (not in a bad way), smoke, malt and a little caramel sweetness. Peat continues in the flavour with grain, toffee and dates. Residual smokey wood, some hop bitterness and alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours black with a tiny khaki head. Big dry wood and peat aroma, touch of toffee. Interesting combination. Taste promotes a dry woodiness on the palate, fair whack of whisky (Laphroaig?), lots of peat. Itís interesting, the woodiness doesnít taste like a sweet oakiness, which is what I was expecting. Lots of leather too. Interesting beer, the whisky malt flavours really takes hold.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Jesus. Smells like wet band aids. Peaty as all hell. Not appealing but the taste is surprisingly much more rounded than I was expecting. Heavy peat, thatís for sure. Some powdery chocolate. Peat kind of takes over but isnít completely over bearing like it is on the nose. Crazy beer. Worth a try

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Pours a murky, brownish red color with a smooth, foamy, light tan head and light lacing. Aroma is peat and smoke followed by alcohol, dried fruits, herbal notes and caramel. Tastes of peated malts, caramel candy, booze, figs, a touch of whiskey. Finished with a boozy dry heat. Medium to full body with moderately high spritzy carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown to copper body, offwhite head. Aroma has Peated malt, liqourice, tar some intense smoked salmon and much alcohol. Really harsh flvaour, peated malt. Sweetness is more whiskey like and roasted liqour tah caramelly which is really disturbing. Maybe bit over in the Islay theme.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle. 13.5%. #044. BB 14/02/17. From brewdog.com. Parallel tasting with the Non-Islay version.
The colour with dark brown with a tiny greyish white head.
The aroma is pure peat. Whiskey, BBQ sauce, some maltiness, alcohol and dryness. I didnít know that itís this much possible to have whiskey in the aroma of a beer.
The flavour is very strong. Extremely strong. In every way. Whiskey, peat, more smoke, alcohol, roasted malt, some hops... whiskey. This is whiskey in the beer bottle. This is absolutely flavoursome. Pffheww... this is very strong. And this is intoxicating.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle from Brewdog shop
Pours dark brown with a small head. Intense aroma of smoke, peat, tar, leather and syrupy malts. Taste is strong, leathery and peated with notes of smoke, oak, wood, vanilla and ash. Finish is warming, stingy, peated and smoked with lots of alcohol burning through. Quite heavy on Islay notes.

33 cl bottle (13,5%) @ olio. Batch #044, BBE 14.02.2017
Aroma is rather smoky with peat and hints of salt Ė definitely an islay feeling here. Flavour has whiskey, peat, smoke, licorice and some weird floury notes. Nice, this has the same ístyleí with the other Bitch Please.
