3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance is deep amber orange with a large thick off white head and excellent lacing.
Smell is very subtle, just a bit of citrus and some floral notes.
Taste is rich malt, grapefruit, and a background of black pepper. Dry, with a moderately bitter finish.
Great body, very nice IPA, not over the top, complex flavor.

Big hop aroma. Golden coloured and strong in alcohol with a fruity pine flavour. A little dryness in a crisp and very bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Musty aroma of british malts and mild apples. Hazy amber in color with a rocky head and some lacing. Rather mush flavor of light caramel, english malt and the interesting hop. The yeast gives mild fruitiness and bears a resemblance to Rogue Brutal Bitter. Not bad, but Alpine’s Nelson showcases this hop a bit more.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle at home: hazy orange amber beer with seemingly low co2 forming a thin unstable yellowed head. Resinous hops rise from the glass drizzeled caramel. Slightly minerally points in the overall sweet sugar coated hops. Touches of biscuit and light solvent. Flavor is big resinous waves of piney and citrus hops. Surprisingly the hops are un-Nelson Sauvin like. I miss the gooseberries. Lightly toasted bread comes in and out before pale malt and caramel try to push everything out. The hops proove to be too powerful for the struggling malt which runs off into the sunset, chased by a regiment of earthy hops.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at ølbaren. Stunning orange look with a foamy baige head that i could eat with my finger. I guessed Nelson Sauvin when i sniffed it, it definetly one of my favorite hop version. It had notes of mandarine and pineapple with flowers and toffee malt sweetness in the background. Flavor is nice fresh and bitter with soft sweet malt notes and very aromatic in the moutharoma aswell. Awsome!

Bottle. Hops, fruits and grass in aroma. Golden amber colour with beige head. Plenty of hops bitterness with a very dry finish, like some dry wood. Nothing chaotic though.
