33cl bottle - nice and fresh. Deep amber pour with thick and lasting white head. Aroma is citrus, overripe mango (a bit dank), some grape and melon, a touch of caramel, and a bit of woodiness. Taste gives some zingy mango and passionfruit, pithy grapefruit, orange, and a dollop of caramel malt. Pithy grapefruit bitterness lingers as does some juicy tropical fruit. Fairly sweet finish - caramel aplenty. Medium mouthfeel. Fairly drinkable. Tasty, but I prefer a paler malt bill to showcase NS as a hop.

Keg at Brewdog, Birmingham. Pours a clear dark amber with a small head. Aroma is quite acrid, with some hops underneath. Taste has bubblegum to start and an acrid, bitter finish. Some vegetable notes. Was much better in the bottle, hopefully get one to re-rate.

Clear copper with an off white head that retains well.
Nose is light piss, orange, floral notes.
Taste comprises caramel, perfume notes, touch of honey, orange, straw.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending towards some bitterness in a dry finish.
Ok drinkable stuff but nothing too exciting goingon here!

330ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-copper golden amber, foam white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of fruity peach, mango. Caramel taste with grapefruit spicy resin hop bitterness and a dry woody bitter finish. Oily warming mouth feel, medium bodied & well carbonated. Quite drinkable IPA.

Bottle, BBE 15.12.2012 so not the freshest anymore. Amber colour, small head. Sweet malty and still suprisingly hoppy aroma. Flavour is heavy on caramel malts, some dry fruits and bitter. Oily mouthfeel. Nicely rounded and malty IPA, might have been a hop bomb drank younger.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2013 Alla spina. IPA dal colore giallo-arancio con soffice schiuma bianca. Erbacea e fruttata al naso e nel gusto; ben strutturata e di facile beva. Da riprovare per conferma a distanza di tempo (magari in bottiglia).

Bottle, january 17th 2013 Hazy amber body, nice creamy offwhite head. Flowery hoppy aroma, peach, grapes, light malt character. Taste of caramel, with blueberries and grapefruit wiping out any doubt it’s a proper ipa. Bitterness is clear and strong, and the beer finishes with a good fruity hoppiness.

Light amber color with ivory creamy head. Malty, grassy and spicy aroma. At taste is light sweet with spicy flavour and finish in dry bitterness, lot of alchol and warming.

Ambrata, schiuma persistente
Buona imperial IPA
Gli aromi fruttati si mescolano all’amaro classico delle IPA di casa brewdog.
