I was quite excited about drinking this but was a little disappointed from the start; not enough hopps for my liking and slightly bland on the palette. I think with the bar that brewdog have set it just falls low. Had with rye bread and pesto cotto montaro.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small fizzy off-white head that leaves a small trace while dissipating. Smell is sweet, slightly metallic and fresh with caramel, peaches, pineapple, very ripe mango, grapes, grass and hints of pine. Taste is sweet, very bitter, malty and slightly metallic with orange peal, unripe peaches and mango, pine, grass, wood, resinous hops and hints of caramel, honey and bread. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy and medium to full bodied. Finish is dry and bitter with pine and orange peal.

Bottle from Systembolaget. I expected allot more hops when I opened this, even when I stick my nose down in the glass Im havign troubles feeling some. Same with the taste, relatively mild bitterness for the style and low hop aroma.

Pours amber low head Aromas are not there at all there are some maltyness Some bitterness and sweetness but no complexity

(Bottle) Pours clear dark orange amber with an off-white head. The aroma holds wood, resin, mild spices, flowers, perfume, mild citrus, grapes, cucumber, asparagus, soft cheese, white wine, tropical fruit/apricot/unripe mango, toast, bread, honey and light caramel. Maybe a whisper of phenols. The flavour is light, medium to heavily bitter and light acidic with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, white grapes, bitter grass, resinous wood, ginger, bread, dry honey and oat cookies. The mouthfeel is round, soft and clean with a light carbonation. Light juice sticky. Floral perfumey, sweet citric and robust malty finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear amber, medium off-white head. A bit restrained tropical fruit hop aroma, with a bready malt backbone. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry, medium bitterness.

Amber color with a medium off-white head. A very bland brew that do not really feel like an IPA, more a ESB if even that. It got a British touch with caramel and grassy, floral notes. Rich bitterness but it feel quite metallic and harsh.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm, Sweden. Quite sweet aroma with a lot of citrus and pine tones. Pours a nice dark amber with a thick white foam. Taste is medium bitter and medium sweet, well balanced but not that exciting. This is a great beer but nothing all that special, just another great IPA from Brewdog.

Smaken är något ointressant är jag rädd, inte dålig eller mindre god utan bara ointressant. Kroppen är okej eller ’passande’ passar bättre och aromen döljer något som jag inte kan sätta fingret på, något märkligt... Slutsats: jag hade väntat mig något ännu bättre från Brewdog.

Sicuramente è decisamente un bel bere, ma forse per me è un pò troppo carbonata, liqurizia nel finale.
