On tap at the Glasgow Brewdog. Masterpiece, with a great bitter kick. Aromas of caramel, cherry, grass, with hints of butter. Flavour has a sweet start, with bitterness taking over for a dry finish. Palate is syrupy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Cask at the Keans Head, Nottingham. This extremely moreish beer has a strong aroma of pine and citrus. It is rich and chewy with flavours of resin and American hops with a hint of brandy on the finish. This is right up my alley; I could sip it happily all day.

Pours a nice translucent light red, nice one finger head. Smells like red berries, sweet, strawberry-ish maybe. Nice mouthfeel with perfect carbonation (although not good head retention). Flavours of strawberries, the nelson hop really stands out, tastes REALLY good. it’s also got a nice malty backbone to it.

Tap at ølbaren. Stunning orange look with a foamy baige head that i could eat with my finger. I guessed Nelson Sauvin when i sniffed it, it definetly one of my favorite hop version. It had notes of mandarine and pineapple with flowers and toffee malt sweetness in the background. Flavor is nice fresh and bitter with soft sweet malt notes and very aromatic in the moutharoma aswell. Awsome!

Pours a deep amber haze with a white soapy head. Has the grapefruit and pine aroma of a DIPA, but more caramel and molasses that you get with a barley wine. Wow. Really gives me the combination of Anchor Steam and a DIPA. Grapefruit sweet on the front of the tongue, watery mouthfeel up front, but then thickens and you get hit with the bitters on the back end. Nice dry finish with the bitters lingering. Nicely done brew. Good rec by Damico.

Bottle from Tesco. Deep orange/gold colour, white head etc. Looks great. Aroma is a complex mix of floral hops, grapefruit, a tuch of spice/pepper underlain with a honeyed malt note. The flavour is not exactly subtle. A brief initial fruity, honeyed sweetness is kicked in the bollocks by a powerful grapefruit bitterness and an intense hoppiness. The finish is long and very dry with a touch of sweetness at the edges. Nice, refreshing palate. Superb.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange like a cloudy sunset with a billowing cloud of foam on top. Powerful citrus hop aroma bursts from the glass and straight into the nose. Hopped up flavour that is warming in the mouth and carries all the way down the throat. A great IPA.

Bottle from Great Grog. Dark amber, foamy white head. Nose: redcurrants and kiwi. Sweet at first with a mouth filling tropical hopiness, mango and lychee. Drinks very smoothly with a good bitter kick and long dry finish. In fact I think I prefer this to punk and hardcore!

Ottima ipa, piu’ amara di altre ma con un sapore decisamente particolare! L’odore e il colore sono sempre quelli di una classica ipa! Retrogusto molto persistente!
