Bottle from Brewdog.com, february 16th 2013. Pours a black color, good sized brown head. Seems more carbonated and foamy than other paradoxes I’ve had. Massive aroma of licorice, rum, roasted malt, raisins. Taste is a bit milder, with herbs, rum, roast and coffee. Quite sweet, heavy stuff but still seems lighter than 15%. Leaves a warm woody finish. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Pours dark, with a small creamy head. Aroma is quite acidic and yeasty, but with good ammounts of burned malts and tobacco. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with burned malts, liqurice, dark fruits and tobacco. And it just lingers on – mmmmm…..
