2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Secondo me? Una mezza belinata, una porter tipica resa atipica da note stonate inserite per scherzo.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown colour and tan head. Quite bitter, but also a malty sweetness. Aroma is also malty. Finish is bitter-sweet. I like, but I think I preferred Alice Porter. (Bottle)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. It leaves a dark beige head of finger-thick size over a clear-looking dark brown body when poured. Really dark brown that is. There’s roasted malts, licorice and some coffee hints on the nose, but most of all there’s orange zest. To be honest, I’d prefer orange. The flavor has a touch of something sourish, but only a faint note. I hope I only misjudged some of the orangey notes. There’s also roasted malts and licorice in the flavor, along with a fine bitterness, both of the hoppy kind and of the citrus peel kind. It’s medium to full-bodied, a bit hard on carbonation, but still feeling rather smooth on the palate. In the end there’s orange zest bitterness and flavor, licorice, some roasted malts and hoppy bitterness. I probably poured this one too cold, it improved with a slightly higher temperature, but that doesn’t prevent me from thinking this is just another well brewed porter like so many others. And the bragging about chili, well, it’s mostly bragging. 111213

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at Brewdog Camden. Black dark brown colour with small beige head. Aroma a bit oaty, bit chocolate malt, but not really much else. Taste is touch of vanilla, bit of milky coffee and a touch of smoke. Slighty spicy which gives a bit of a prickle in the mouth. Much prefer the Alice Porter, but this is a bit festive I guess.
