Dark brown, medium beige head with creamy retention. Nose is malt, cocoa, caramel, hints of chili. Taste is malty with cocoa, slight smokiness. Semi-dry finish with somewhat bitter roast and sweet chili. Lingering mild roasty bitterness. Body is on the thin side, carbonation is soft.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
tuoksussa jonkinlaista mausteisuutta mikä peittää kaiken muun alleen. maku onkin sitten normaalimpaa porter linjaa. chilikö se jälkimaussa polttelee? etiketissä siitä maininta ja jälkimaku on selkeästi poltteleva. periaatteessa mausteet ja chili toimii mutta jotenkin vaisuksi jää silti. runko on liian kevyt.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reddish deep dark brown body, neverending finger thick tan head.
Spicy and mild roasty nose.
The aroma has chocolate and caramel underpainted by distinct spices, some hops and alcohol working in the background.
Sweetbitter and somewhat tannic finish with dark chocolate, hints of pepper and gently warming alcohol.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown color. Medium tan head, disappears very quickly. Looks bit fizzy. Sweet, malts, roast, faint clove in aroma. Chocolate, some roast, sweet (even tempted to say caramel, but I won’t), malts in flavor. Surprisingly weak aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle (Drink Baar, Tallinn)
Bit of a weird aroma. We’ve had sometghing like it before, but I can’t place it. There’s a bit of OK roast there, but the weird harshness smothers that a bit. In fact the roast bedcomes more charcoaly and oily, and even acidic after a while. Definitelt harsh. Looks pretty OK, though, very deep red, brief tan head settles to a ring. I’ve got it - some of the oily burntness is like Koff Porter, but that is way nicer, and has no harshness. Slight fizziness to the fullish palate. Odd buttery retronasals.Very rich roast, again, reminds me of Koff Porter in some ways. Does have more hops though, and isn’t quite as oily, but the butter’s very salty. So has potential, but is missing out on the balance, and suffering greatly from the Lurpak. Finish quite burnt, very dry and long. Certainly passable, better than most other brewdogs we’ve had this year.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Chocolate and hints of spice. Pours quite thin, with a tan head that reduces, but not completely,
Tastes like Alice Porter, but with a bit more smoke to it. Couldn’t detect any Festive Spices or chilli, but there is some chocolate there. Small amount of bitterness which is down to the malts than the hops.
Not bad, but nothing special.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from the bottle @The Sheffield Tap, on 05/11/2012.
Pours in brown-to-black color, with an ok beige head.
Aroma is quite faint.
Taste is medium-bodied, which is surprising for 6,2%.
Very acidic, roasted malts are almost absent.
Pretty sweet finish upfront, then having a long bitter&hot spicy part.
