4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tapped at RichtarJakub, Black look, wonderful chocolate mousse, chocolate Aroma coffee with a hint of bourbon flavor as delicate as a liqueur. Full coffe, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall, this beer more than sexy experience. I highly recommend after a hard day or to lift your spirit. Lovely.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at RJ. Aroma dark malts, raisins, tobacco, dark chocolate. Dark brown stable head. Almost black colour. Taste is initially deliciously sweet grape chocolate. Heavily roasted with no astringency at all, only smooth creamy chocolatey goodness. Pleasant dark cofeeish chocolatey finish, long duration. Alcohol absolutely hidden. Easily drinkable. Killer beer.

Psycho pours in black body with creamy, dark brown, almost like chocolate dark head. Aroma has roasty chocolate characters, dark fruits, pretty clean. Taste has light acidic roasty sweetness, notes of fruity bitterness in the background. Hints of alcohol. Body is full, oily texture, high carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, small to average mostly diminishing dark brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, lots of roasted malt - light burnt malt, light coffee and faint licorice, light vanilla (oak). Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish flavor, roasted malt and light coffee, light hoppyness and light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, lots of roasted malt - light burnt malt, light coffee and faint licorice, light vanilla and light - some hoppyness with some alcohol. Roasted IS - not too much coffee/not too sweet. Finish has bit too much alcohol considering the body of the beer.

Pours a dark brown with no head. Smells of cocoa, toast. Taste is sweet and bitter with a bit of a sourish follow through - cocoa and bread, thick.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
33 cl. bottle split costs & contents with Kogymo. Procured from Willems. Looks gorgeous, black, thick dark mocha head which sadly doesn’t really last but otherwise picture perfect. Smells like sour coffee beans & grounds, ashes, herbal, tart red berries. Taste is sour coffee beans and grounds, dash vinegar, berries, herbal, ash in the back, roast & faint cocoa. Ashes & grounds body, lighter than usual for the syle. The sourness of the beans, the ash etc. This one doesn’t feel like coffee RIS should feel like. Not all that enjoyable.

Backlog, tried (on tap?) at Stockholm Beer & Whiskey 2013. Didn’t quite do it for me, there just wasn’t enough aroma in it to compete with the other brews in the same category.
