A 10% decadent and indulgent Imperial Russian Stout. Brewed with a copious amount of dark malts, infused with coffee beans during the boil and after fermentation and aged on cacao nibs, vanilla pods and toasted oak chips. This opulent whirl of chocolate, coffee, dark malts and hops even rivals the most colourful of imperial Faberge eggs. Originally created to celebrate the Russian Royal Family, this is a fitting tribute with which to toast your own empire.

A very strong malt and chocolate aroma but it smells like a strong beer. Taste is an initial chocolate and malt

Keg at Brewdog Shoreditch. Pours pitch black with small mocha head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, brown sugar and some vanilla. Palate is thick and luscious - lots of chocolate on the taste, some coffee and vanilla. Can’t taste the ABV at all. Really good.

10%abv. WOW!! This is probably one of my favourite BrewDog ever! Delicous coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla aroma (tip top!). Thick texture, extremely dark colour and small amount of brown head. Soft carbonation with delicious dark chocolate taste. LightLess alcohol taste for a 10%abv stout. Long finish with nice and tasty chocolate taste! Love it!! Feels like the upgraded version of Alice Porter. Also, happy International Stout Day! :D

Bottle - Opaque black colour, incredible brown, creamy head with good retention and lacing. Intense aroma of cocoa, coffee and roasted malts, some chocolate and vanilla. Taste of chocolate, some coffe, toffee and some smooth vanilla. Alcohol is well hidden, medium to full body, moderate carbonation, velvety texture, smooth and roasty finish. Very decent RIS with intense cocoa aroma. And that beautiful brown head, ohh... remarkable.

Black liquid with brown 1 sm head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, malt. Taste the same, medium sweetness and bitterness, very full and balanced. Very long finish, very nice.
