4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
BB 10/04/19. Poured a very opaque black colour with a thick looking appearance with a light brown dense foamy head 5mm thick that diminished to a collar and laced poorly. A great looking beer! Aroma of sweet dark chocolate, coffee, some dark toasted malt, and hint of molasses with the alcohol well hidden. Great aroma! Taste persistently and strongly of strongly roasted coffee with some bitter chocolate, hints of smoke and a bit of alcohol. Moderately sweet with a hint of bitterness on the aftertaste. Great taste! Full body. Smooth and creamy on the palate and with a lingering taste of dark chocolate and dark fruits with a slightly bitter finish. A great imperial stout.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Jun ’14. A 0.33 l bottle @Magic Beer Room, Zagreb. It poured pitch black body with a small, full brown head atop. Aroma of cocoa in the first plan, very strong, little bit of roasted malt, herbal notes and only a touch of alcohol. Flavor was lightly bitter from coffee and other heavily roasted malts, but also very well balanced with chocolate and other sweet malt notes. Herbs were not omitted; hops were even more pronounced than in the nose. Medium bodied considering the style with very pleasant and lightly alcoholic finish. Could have a tad more body, although it’s really a pleasant brew. Thumbs down for the extreme retail price only.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Topper!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From Brewcraft. Jet black with a very thin fizzy red-tan head. Smells of raisin, dark burnt malt, smoky ashy leather, smoked dried meat/beef jerky, an almost minty/herbal bitterness. Tastes hugely bitter, burnt coffee beans, sharply acidic. Body is medium, little slick, smooth. A massive bitter smoky burnt imperial stout.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Inky black pour with reddish brownish thin head. Looks a bit flat even. Aroma is deeply roasted with leather and some slight raisin and beef jerky-like smokiness. Not unpleasant. Taste is big - echoes aroma in smokiness and slight raisin as it warms, also boozy and bitter coffee flavors. Very rich but not creamy palate. Not in a bad way. Lasting warm booziness and lingering bitterness. Very good imperial stout. Would get again.
