COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg & bottled, special
Scottish Chocolate Breakfast Stout - brewed with Brazilian Sertão coffee, Venezuelan cacao and (for the Scottish element) oatmeal. Created and brewed by beer writers Rob Derbyshire (from Hopzine) and Richard Taylor (from the BeerCast), Dead Metaphor refers to a lot of the nomenclature and buzz words/phrases that are bandied about in modern beer writing - and has been designed to get the synapses firing when writing deadlines approach. This beer should be sipped for instant inspiration. Label design by Drew Millward.

Wonderful aroma of dark malt and coffee. The taste is much coffee beans. Sweet bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Really tasty and enjoyable beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Shared bottle. Pours is dark with thick brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts, hazelnut, tartness. Taste is light sweet with hints of bitterness and some acidic notes, lot of chocolate. Light hoppy bitter, medium sweet finish. Medium to full body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. Great beer.

Melhor stout normal que já provei. Não sou fã do estilo, mas desta eu gostei. Não chega nem perto de algumas RIS, mas está aprovada. Só achei um pouco ácida.

Werckmeister (701) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 20, 2015
Bottle at home. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells malty roasty, coffee, some raosted grain notes, also a very light smoke note and slight sweetness. Full body, slick, malty taste, light to medium sweetness, light smoke note, some coffee, some roastiness. Light smoky / light sweet malty finish. Good, I would enjoy a bit more roasty bitterness on the finish instead of the sweetness.

Bottle 0.33L. Dark brown body with average, frothy, light-brown head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing. Moderate-to-heavy malty (roasted, caramel) aroma with notes of coffee, chocolate, light red fruits and licorice. Moderate bitter and sweet flavour; some dark chocolate in the finish. Medium-to-full body with oily-to-creamy texture; soft carbonation.

Bottle. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, coffee, but very delicate. Black with brown medium head. Taste is pleasantly chocolate-ish and coffe-ish, with very delicate bitterness and lightly soury, roasty finish.
