Rob and Rich have named the beer Dead Metaphor, after a lot of the nomenclature and meaningless buzz words and phrases that are bandied about in the world of beer writing. This beer should be sipped for instant inspiration. - See more at: http://www.brewdog.com/blog-article/introducing-dead-metaphor#sthash.pM7YQs8T.dpuf

Tap @ BrewDog Birmingham. Black with a khaki head. Aroma of coffee and freshly mined iron ore. Taste is brilliantly muted given the aroma: a staid bitterness letting in sweeter moments like flashes of light. Much better than other mid-strength porter/stouts I could mention.

Dunkel, schwer und doch so süffig. Leicht säuerlich mit viel Kaffee, Röstaromen und etwas Schokolade. Einfach classy.

Bottle from trade with BenH - thank you so much! The beer pours out in a beautiful dark black colour with low creamy head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of malt, chocolate and torf - quite spicy and characterloaden. Nice taste of mild coffee, dark chocolate, rye, barley, bread, caramel and torf. Spicy and dry finish. High enjoyable beer, wonderful quaffable and just delicious.
