3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Brigadier (2240) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - MAY 24, 2013
12 ounce bottle
The fact that you can pick this up in grocery stores around the UK would make me envious except for the wealth on the shelves stateside. Still, it is an excellent example of how bigger is not always better. Drink one fresh and prepare to be amazed by what creative brewing can bring to the low gravity experience.
Aroma / Appearance - The bright orange base glows like the inside of a lava lamp. Fluffy white clouds of head rest atop the surface. Orange, citrus, and grapefruit are assertive, bright, and airy.
Flavor / Palate - The bitter first impression hangs around. On top builds a wave of citrus aspects. Carried along in a brilliant mouthfeel the total package amazes the unexpecting senses. Rather than a dull boring session beer this packs enough flavor to compete with something twice the ABV. You will not be disappointed (if it is fresh).

On tap @ Brewdog Bar Stockholm! Pours amber with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, hops, light malt. Taste is hoppy light bitter with fairly abrupt finish. Body is light obviously, with soft carbonation. Very good for the ABV!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 iammarc (382) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - MAY 21, 2013
330ml can at Brew at the Bog. I could sit and drink this in the pub all night long - a true session beer. Great hop aroma and very palatable. Pity I didn't have the opportunity to taste from the tap, although can is just as good these weathers. Citrus, slight floral nose and incredibly tasty despite its relatively low ABV.

Bottle at De Paas, Den Haag. Hazy golden, solid head. Exotic fruity hoppiness, no nonsense bitterness. Light body as expected. Quite a session beer
