This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Intense hoppy aroma mild and pleasant. Thin slightly bitter with stronger bitter aftertaste but no density. Refreshing

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Lovely fresh hop aroma, cat pee-ish - must be the Citra. Actually even medium-bodied, some sweet malt notes but really dominated by the fresh and juicy hops without being bitter at all. A great Session IPA indeed. 130914

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2014 33cl bottle from "cerveteca" bar in Lisbon. It pours a gold color with a moderate but persistent white head. Aroma is full of hops and pines with some orange and grapefruit. Taste is hops, citrus and with a hint of malt at the end. Although there is a little sweet in the beginning, it is quickly overpowered by the strong bitterness. It is lively carbonated with a medium body and a dry finish. This is one of the most interesting beers I’ve yet tasted. That’s a good hoppy beer with a high drinkability. Very tasty and refreshing.

Strong hoppy aroma, full of grapefruit and other yellow tropical fruits. It’s slightly hazy, golden color, with small head. Taste is strictly bitter. There is no sweetness at all in it, it’s dry. Has very small body, it’s rather watery. It’s very drinkable, very refreshing. In overall it’s good and very hoppy beer but it the same time it’s so so light!

Opaque orange, small fading foam head. Strong hoppy aroma and likewise taste. That is all there is to it, bitterness. But good. Lasting aftertaste, bitter again. (Moscow 201409)

Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Aroma is peach, grapefruit, citrus, orange, hoppy, pine. Taste is medium sweet with medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, lively carbonation, astringent finish. For a Session IPA with only 3.8 alcohol this is quite interesting.

Fresh, nicely hopped ale. The bitterness comes after you swallow and balances the sweetness good. Lots of fruit!!

Dark gold with plentiful carbonation, aroma of apricot and gooseberry. Taste is bittersweet and fruity. Finish and aftertaste are slightly more bitter than the initial taste. Nice carbonation on the lips, but the body is a tad watery for my liking. All in all, a BrewDog beer for the craft beer sceptic & enthusiast alike.
