COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Pours clear, amber-ish, bit of white foam. Aroma is surprisingly fruity, with some nice hops - and the taste does it also justice. However, when it warms, it breaks apart and it is more difficult for me to enjoy this. I wonder if this is why I am not very big on session IPA’s? Maybe I should just drink faster :)

Has great hops on the nose with a hint of malt. It’s got a nice orange body with lttle head. Flavour is great hops with a slight hint of nutmeg. The palate is perfect for a beer with such low alcohol as this, not watery at all and quite substantial. It’s very nice and highly drinkable.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33 Flasche vom E-Center Stengel. Gelungenes Bier!

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2015 Bottle, 330ml. pours a light clear orange. Head is whitish, quite short. Scents of gentle but present hops, guava, tropical fruits, medium malt. Mouth feel is lightly creamy and slightly sticky, quite smooth. Body is medium. Carbonation is quite soft. Tastes very lightly bitter, nice light sweetness. Flavors of hops, malt, lightly phenolic, some tropical fruits. Very light and not too interesting.
