This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

330 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a very lightly cloudy golden orange with small white cap. Aroma is fresh citrusy hops, maybe even a touch of pine, and some caramel. Flavour has zesty grapefruity and gentle piney hops, and a mellow caramelly malt. Modest bitterness in finish. Really nice big flavour for the ABV - I could session this big time.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Intensively flowery and fruity aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and other exotic fruits. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dry and a bit slim malty base but with loads of floral and fruity hops, lingering into the slim malty but also quite lasting finish. Aromatic summer drink. 29.VII.13

Clear amber colour, white head. Fruity aroma, tropical fruits, pineapple, melon, quite floral, metallic hints. Bitter flavour, bitter hops, touch of malts. Quite thin body, but nice for the ABV. Light metallic finish, fruity, lingering watered down grapefruit. Nice brew, thirst quencher! Like a miniature IPA, which is nice since it just became IPA-day (according to local time).

31/07/2013 330ml bottle. Ambrata pallida, schiuma biancastra-giallognola a grana grossolana, non molto persistente. Al naso confusa, sentori fruttati, agrumati e di resina, diacetile. In bocca si conferma in condizioni non ottimale, leggero diacetile, monotona, per nulla fresca. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Mi piacerebbe riassaggiarla in condizioni migliori.

Generous lashings of citra hops take this one straight in near the top of my favourite IPAs. The hops deliver a lovely broad grapefruit and lemon tang.

Tap at Q-Brick. Amber orange with a fine, high head. Clean citrus hop nose, grass, light caramel. Light and clean, nice hops, decent bitterness, a bit of malt sweetness and caramel. Quite tasty for its strength.

Bottle @ home, 22/7 2013. Clear orange, small white head that settles quickly, okay lacing. Aroma, nice grapefruit/piney hoppy with malty background, . Taste, bitter hoppy, grapefruit lemon piney, mild malty background, . Bitter grapefruit aftertaste, that lingers for a little. Great session beer, with big taste at only 3,8%.

Bottled. Amber colour with a very slight haze and almost no head. Loads of grapefruit on the nose, with honey and pine too. Refreshing, sweet citrus flavours and a dry, hoppy finish. Very well balanced. Perfect beer for a summer BBQ!

Hazy golden colour, creamy head. Nose has aroma hops, citrus, flowers, fruits and herbs. Flavor is light malty, mainly hoppy with mainly citrus hops and lemon peel. Medium bitter finish. A very good summer beer.
