COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Bottle from Gambrinus. I have to say that the ABV was a little peculiar for Brewdog beer, but they have managed to put a lot of hops and real good taste of beer into this one. Hints of fruits, especially banana and maybe even vanilla but taste was still in balance. Not one of my favourites but worth tasting.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma of american hops. Pale with big head. A bit thin, but very good for its low ABV level.

Very hoppy aroma. Citrus, tropical fruit, mango, pineapple. Taste: good botterness but not too much. Not much malt. A lottle thin body due to the low abv. Great beer though.

Mon IPA préféré, si peu alcolisée mais pourtant si grande en gout : l’amertume du houblon et son coté fruité. Une réussite tout simplememt.

Aroma: Very citrusy, slight caramel and pine. (Vanilla? I seem to find vanilla in everything. I’m starting to think that I might be imagining things..) Appearance: Hazy golden, white medium head. Taste: Short tasting, slight bitternes watery. The aroma led me to believe it would have more kick. But then again it is a 3.8 % and with that in mind it is pretty good. Would work great with a meaty or spicy meal.
