Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

pineapples, melon and grain in the nose. Fairly hoppy. Fairly light body, well balanced, clean and refreshing blonde ale. Nice moderate beer finish. Nice.

dark orange/amber color clear beer, white minimal head, disapears quickly. Aroma: 1st a lot of citrus, pine. Than big disadvantage of this beer- sulfur (rotten eggs, dirty toilet). Taste is kinda ok, but aroma kills it. Light, low carbonated, session beer. Overall: too much sulfur, if I’ll get my hands on bottle without this, i"ll re-rate it, but for now, it’s almost not drinkable because of smell.

Hoppy and happy. Bursting with citrus - a tangle of orange and old lemon. Nice, but a little unsubtle to be a superstar. A nice low ABV option though. The girlfriend loves it.

A lot of taste considering the low alcohol percantage. Sweet, sour, some hints of pine and bitter finish. Easy to drink, good beer, but not very extraordinary.

Lovely aroma, probably the best part of this beer. Disappointing shortlived head, otherwise pleasant appearance. Sharp but pleasant bitterness, I would have preferred a bit more sweetness to match. Pleasant, full mouth. Happy its available in SA!

Gusto tropicale, troppo pesante però, mi aspettavo molto di più, sono rimasto parecchio deluso

Typical Brewdog hops on the nose with a medium white head and golden/amber appearance. More bitter than your typical British IPA however this is trying to copy the West Coast style which it does well. The abv is low which does take something away from the overall flavor and body but the usual citrus flavors are still there. This could be called a light IPA (not that the style exists) as it has many of the attributes of a top class IPA but with everything toned down. Nevertheless this is still enjoyable and worth a try.
