This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Bright slightly reddish colour with good head that stays nicely. Scent blew me away, so awesome! There is citrus and tropical fruits, I’m already feeling those hops. Taste explodes to my mouth, hops bring sweet and sour notes, at the end being a little bit on the sweet side. Slightly thin mouthfeel, but not disturbingly. Another epic beer from Brewdog!

Fat. Bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. Ananas, grape, lime och svagt av kåda hittas i både smak och doft. Oljig munkänsla. Att det är en öl med förhållandevis låg alk.-proc. märks inte på smaken.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is tropical, grapefruit and even some sweet malts. Flavour is incredibly powerful for such a low abv beer. Intense grapefruit and tropical flavour hit you the moment this beer touches your tongue. Nice full and bittersweet with a medium long, faint aftertaste. Wow, what a pleasant surprise here!

Bottle. Pours dark yellow with a nice white head, falls down after a while. Aroma: sort of grassy, pine-ish and hoppy, some tropical fruits. The taste is extremely nice for such a low alcohol beer, it feels much heavier than it actually is - in a good way. You get finely balanced tropical fruits blended with nicely balanced malts and hops, the finish is a little bitter, but generally very well balanced. Pine and hop notes. A very nice beer I definitely will buy more of.

A very well-balanced lowish-alcohol heavily-hopped pale ale. I wish there were more beers like this.

Bottled. Pours clear pale, amber with a medium sized off-white head. Leaving a fair lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, piney notes and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and pleasant bitter. Light to medium bodied, oily texture and soft CO2. An OK pale ale. ★★★

Nice strong pale ale. At the beginning i got a strong fruity taste almost like pineapple. Followed by a nice strong flavour of hops.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes petroleum, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, petroleum, caramel, and hops, leading to a bitter finis. The body is light.
