COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Draught at BrewDog Camden on 12 Jun 2012. Poured a lightly hazy, dark golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple and straw. Big hoppy flavours; citrus, pine, grass and some grain. Finish was dry cereal, lingering spruce and dried fruit.

330ml bottle. Pours a little hazy with a medium and diminishing white head. Aroma of gorgeous hops, caramel, toast and honey. Taste is bitter sweet grapefruit and hops. Good mouth feel due to the mild and steady carbonation, thin and wet finish. Hop heaven. The founders of this top performing Scottish brewery should get knighthoods. Very very competent american styled IPA. A MUST TRY.

Strong hoppy aroma followed by a punch of hops on the tongue. Really quite delicious. Great session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear amber with a strong head. Nose has floral and pine aroma with some caramel. Mouth has a combination of floral and grass with some citrus on the sides. Light body with thin texture and average carbonation.

Thin and hoppy. Not a bad beer at all, but a little similar to the Punk IPA I thought.

Bottle into a Westmalle glass. Dry hoppy beer, really pleasant. Zesty grapefruit aroma. Not the first time I’ve had it, and unlikely to be the last. Good beer to have with food.

Really smooth and sessionable pale ale. On tap crispy and hoppy but thin. Very quick finish. Prefer Sierra Nevada Pale Ale myself, but this is good stuff.
