This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

330ml can. Hazy golden with small bubbles in the glass. Very hoppy and floral on the nose. Light body but nice flavor. Starting with grapefruit, mango and yellow kiwi. Moving on to a caramel sweet and tangy bitterness. Short and slightly watery after taste. Very nice thirst quencher.

An easygoing californian pale ale. As the name declares, its taste and aroma is less fronted as this type often is. Would be perfect if it was a warm sunny day :-)

Bottle. Orange color with thin unsteady head. Aroma is hoppy, grapefruit. Taste is mildly bitter. Medium carbonized. Light-bodied beer. Finish is rather long with fine bittersweet notes. Nice IPA for long drinking.

Very floral on the nose, the palate is warming but fades too quickly. A lovely drop that just doesn't follow through on the potential. Put this the eaky for a long day of session beers, but nothing to take your hat off too.

(330ml can, new label/name, from Systembolaget Tornby) Pours pale gold. Aroma of grapefruit rind, orange, grassy, slightly earthy funky dank hop note, slight pale malt. On the palate, lots of grapefruit rind, a little orange too, grassy, slight grain and a touch of wheaty feel. Lightly sweet at most. A light but dry grassy and herbal bitterness. Mineral in the finish. Light bodied with fairly high carb. A pretty decent session IPA really, nothing spectacular here but it ticks the boxes for the style with a brisk, fairly fruity hop driven refreshing feel.
