This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Clear amber color, small white head. Strong aroma of cat piss/gooseberries. Light bodied. Fruity, tickling gooseberry hoppyness. Session beer with unconventional hop profile.

Smells nice. Looks alright. 3.8% makes me skeptical. That notion is proved correct as the taste is quite underwhelming.

Bottle. Amber, slightly hazy body, with a big, frothy, slightly yellow head. Fruity aroma of passion fruit, mango, citrus, orange, some pine, grass. Taste is surprisingly full for this ABV, with about the same aromas, but with more pine and also biscuit and some earth. Mouthfeel is light, oily, with a medium carbonation and it finishes bitter, slightly dry, with lemon, pine and some malt notes. Really good for this low ABV! Fruity, malty and also bitter piney and all in a great balance. Very easy to drink, great summer beer!

Pours nicely and gives off a nice appearance and aroma. A bit of a liquorice kind of hops - not too pleasant - but round and malty taste and a nice thirst quencher nevertheless.

Looks fine, light golden colour, nice thick head with reasonable lacing. Smells beautiful - very floral and sweet. Tastes ok, pine with a malty/nutty after. Is reasonable thin, but to be expected - good carbonation and subtle coating.

Beautiful copper in the glass. Aromas of dank mango and tropical fruit. Biscuit and nutty malt character, tempered by bitterness and that dank tropical hop note. Body is great for a low abv beer, lots of residual sugar in this. Really good low abv option on a night out.
