COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

0,33l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear, orange color with medium white head. Strong pine and resin odor. Intensive, agressive, resin, pine and a little bit grass aroma. Clear, dry, medium bitter taste. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation with small bubbles. Dry, hoppy finish. This is a nice, delicious, small bodied, well-hopped beer. The malty flavour can’t be really felt. Intensive, "kick ass" hoppy one. Easily drinkable, light beer.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2015 Bottle, tulip glass. Medium white head. Hazy orange. Strong aroma has mandarine and grape fruit. Very refreshing and drinkable. Excellent balance of smoothness and bitterness. Medium bodied, crispy and dry palate. One of my favourite IPAs. Have to try this next summer heat.

0,33 l bottle, best before 4/9/2015. Clear, orange liquid with a frothy, diminishing, white head. Lovely, hoppy aroma of tropical fruits like passion fruit, mango and tangerine with gentle hints of resin. The taste is less impressive: mango, passion fruit and some grapefruit in the end. Medium thin body, quite watery, flat carbonation. A bit like multivitamin juice with soda. Very short, only slightly bitter finish. Average beer I would say. Decent IPA-aroma but lacking heavily in terms of body. Still quite good for a Session IPA.

As soon as I pop the cap a strong hops aroma hits my nostrils. I say my prayer of thanks to the hop gods and pour this pony into a glass. A shining golden liquid with medium-sized off-white head welcomes me with aromas of pungent freshly cut grass, grapefruit and pine. The taste is dry through and through, with a medium bitterness and a light, refreshing, soapy body. I believe this is the best Session IPA I’ve had so far - super-light yet super-aromatic. I wish I could afford to drink this all night.
