COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg: Filtered
Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.
This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

0,33l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear, orange color with medium white head. Strong pine and resin odor. Intensive, agressive, resin, pine and a little bit grass aroma. Clear, dry, medium bitter taste. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation with small bubbles. Dry, hoppy finish. This is a nice, delicious, small bodied, well-hopped beer. The malty flavour can’t be really felt. Intensive, "kick ass" hoppy one. Easily drinkable, light beer.

Superbe "Session" !

From 33cl bottle. Nose like smell after citric fruits, honey and flowers, taste a bit fruity a light dark chocolate, but fades soon. Above average!

33cl bottle @ home from Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest. Body is clear, amber, Head is small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing, fair lacing. Nose is tons of citrus, light caramel, Aroma is biscuit, tropical fruits, light orange peel, light steamed vegetables, decent hops. Taste is medium sweet, medium hoppy bitter Finish is fruity and hoppy bittersweet, medium duration. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Easy dessert beer, slightly refreshing, great flavor regarding to the ABV.

Dark gold carbonate. Taste is bittersweet and fruity but quite astonishing. Finish is more bitter than the initial taste. Good carbonation on the lips.

Wonderfully flavourful for a pale ale/session beer with a 3.8 ABV. Nose has lots of fruit, florals, malt, caramel/honey, a bit of yeast and spice. Taste is light-bodied but crisp and hoppy. Reminds me of the Brewdog Punk IPA with everything dialled a little down and the hoppiness dialled a lot down.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour, with a small white head. Very nice nose, hoppy with significant floral and citrus notes. Taste is hoppy, with a hint of grapes. Medium body, long medium bitter finish. Average carbonation. Quite good IPA.

I was not too pleased with this IPA. It was a bit too bitter for my taste and found too little to discover in it’s aroma. Very mediocre.

Beautiful clear orange color with a large amount of foam that dissipates quickly. Huge hop bomb. Grapefruity-piny aroma, a bit floral. Taste is watery, slightly bitter. Gone quickly, no aftertaste. Very light body. Refreshing. Not exactly my brew, but well made.

330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui during October’s “Beer Festival” promotion.

Cloudy hazy amber honey colour with lots of floating chunky yeast particles; Very thin head and residual soapy off-white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Small sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of Ale malt, with strong tangerine, strong floral, pineapple, light grapefruit, strong honey, light blueberry, pine, lemon and grass; Very light sweet taste of moderate Ale malt, with strong grapefruit and lemon zest, faint molasses notes, pine, earth, light biscuits, yeast, bitter lime, strong bitter hops and sharp grass; Light body, thin and slick palate; Mouth feel is very solid Ale malt base with slight roastyness. Very low sweetness with strong and expressive hops take over - very zesty lemon and grapefruit, bitter lime, earth and pine - not too biscuity nor yeasty. Very well balanced. Nice!... Hoppiness is taste as above, plus very expressive tangerine, light berries, strong floral, pineapple, and honey in aroma. Strong Simcoe and Citra bitterness which grooved to your taste buds with a nice feel to it. Lasting moderate to strong astringent finish; Fairly dry after taste, very hoppy and zesty to mouth.

Comments: For a style with low profile, this one is very expressive with fragrant fruity and honey aromas, taste is zesty to the teeth, and strong but comfortable bitterness. Highly sessionable. Cheers!
