COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.
Malts: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts
Hops: Simcoe, Citra and HBC

Jihaaa! Jjust the punch you need for your wednesday evening beer. No too strong what comes to alcohol but a strong hoppy flavour backed up by fruityness. High palate duo to my masochist nature! One of my favorites!

A Punk IPA-hoz hasonlóan erős grapefruitos íz, gyakorlatilag annak light verziója. Punk IPA light.

A mid amber orange coloured beer with a frothy, but weak head. A potent hop aroma eminates immediately from the bottle, heaps of grapefruit and lemon, with a slightly resinous smell in the background. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, loads of citrus fruit flavours, orange, grapefruit and lemon, the resinous, piney element is apparent again, then a minute hint of malt sweetness, which only makes a brief appearance as the hops and citrus fruits come back in the finish with avengence.

Coppery coloured with thin white head. As soon as cap is off you are rushed by a massive hoppy aroma just urging you to take a drink. Great grapefruit(y) taste with something a bit biscuity not far behind. Also some pine and dandelion(?) Slightly dry, bitter finish, like citrus zest. Very nice beer - wish I had bought more.

Nice strong pale ale. At the beginning i got a strong fruity taste almost like pineapple. Followed by a nice strong flavour of hops.

Bottle. Clear amber color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of lots of tropical fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, orange. Piney bitterness in taste, more of the simcoe in here I guess. Bit dry in taste, slight thin. Would be perfect for cask conditioning as well and an absolute stunner of a thirst quencher. Lots of aroma without getting too harsh on the bitterness. Perfect session beer.

Keg at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours clear, copper-gold with a light, foamy white head. Pale grass, mild urine on the nose. Light sweet flavor with perfectly offsetting hops. Lightly toasted grass, citrus rind, some mild pee. A bit of toasty malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp finish with light, toasty malt sweetness, light pine needles, some grass, orange citrus, pee. Great low alcohol beer, simply great. It fits perfectly into the roster of BrewDog pale ales; it’s just a notch below Punk and a few notches below Hardcore, but the character is very much the same. Great stuff.

Bright slightly reddish colour with good head that stays nicely. Scent blew me away, so awesome! There is citrus and tropical fruits, I’m already feeling those hops. Taste explodes to my mouth, hops bring sweet and sour notes, at the end being a little bit on the sweet side. Slightly thin mouthfeel, but not disturbingly. Another epic beer from Brewdog!
