COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.
Malts: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts
Hops: Simcoe, Citra and HBC

Yellow head, fading to transparant over very slightly hazed orange beer, well-carbonated. Very powerful nose of citrus and other exotic fruit (passion- and grapefruit especially). Very iniviting smell. Pure fruity hops; exotic fruit, citrus, hopoils galore, hence pretty bitter, in the most fruity way. Obviously light body, spritzy, but very refreshing and packed with flavour. Yet another low-alcohol gem. England did it always, now Italy, France, Netherlands and here Scotland can do it too - WTBH can’t Belgian brewers do more similar things?

Bottle at home. Pours a clear light amber with an off-white head and hints of lacings. Dry with floral hops aromas and aromas of caramel malts. Also some earthy and spruce hops aromas. Light bodied. Medium to high carbonation. Bitter finish.

Amazing smell, off mint-leaves and spices. Lots of carbonation, foamy head with good lacing. Great deep orange/golden color. Spicy, hoppy, citrussy taste, smooth mouthfeel. Great body for a low alcohol percentage. Aftertaste could have been a bit smoother.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Clear copper. Aroma: Grapefruit, orange, citrus, bread and grass. Taste: Grapefruit, pomegranate, earthy, salty and bitter. Fizzy mouthfeel - dry and bitter finish, but not very long. Unusual pale ale, but a worthy addition to the BrewDog core range, especially considering the low ABV and easy drinkability. Probably a little thin for some, but by no means a bad beer.
