COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Yellow head, fading to transparant over very slightly hazed orange beer, well-carbonated. Very powerful nose of citrus and other exotic fruit (passion- and grapefruit especially). Very iniviting smell. Pure fruity hops; exotic fruit, citrus, hopoils galore, hence pretty bitter, in the most fruity way. Obviously light body, spritzy, but very refreshing and packed with flavour. Yet another low-alcohol gem. England did it always, now Italy, France, Netherlands and here Scotland can do it too - WTBH can’t Belgian brewers do more similar things?

Can, bought at Grebhan´s, Bremen. Neraly clear in the glass, dark orange golden, small white short living head. Grapefruit on the nose, hopy. Taste starts with a present hop bitterness, malt in the second row with fruit. Long lasting taste, later in a malt bedding. Resin in the aftertaste. And again, a very complex beer for that low abv.

Hazy orange color, with white head, disappearing. Smell is very intense of citrus, exotic fruits. Taste too, with a pleasant bitter end. Incredibly, very good body for such a low alcohol beer! Very drinkable and refreshing. Great.

Lovely aromas of citrus, nondescript mild spices, orange peel and fresh grass. The taste is fresh and delicious as a real true American pale ale, hops taste of citrus, slightly spicy (thyme?) And also has a slight sweetness of orange and light caramel. The finish is dry and the bitterness is medium. The alcohol is ’only’ 3.8%, but tastes much more. Rich, full-bodied and delicate pale ale.

Draft at the pub in Edinburgh... Light orange tinge with nice loose lacing. Orange zest and lemon on the nose and palate, light and refreshing! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bardzo dobry świeży aromat chmielowy, plus lekki nuty saison. W drugiej nucie nuty saison mocniejsze. W smaku zdecydowana, ale krótka goryczka. Piwo dość pełne a zarazem lekkie. W miarę picia daje wrażenie lekko wodnistego, ale przy tak niskiej zawartości alkoholu to nic dziwnego. Rewelacyjne, pijalne lekkie piwo.

On tap at Brewdog Shoreditch -- part of a flight. Delicious pale ale. Excellent selection of hops. I love brewdog brews.

Draft. Orange color, white head. Good hop aroma: citrus, floral, resin, mango. Taste: citrus, tropical fruits, pine, good hop bitterness, pleasant refreshing ale for summer.

Hazy gloden, ok head. Smells really Nice of fresh hops. But after the first taste I am so dissapointed. So dull taste, heavy and not a the slighest refreshing. I dont like the hop flavour at all. Best way to describe this Beer is like a bad wine that has been oak aged for far to Long. The only positive except for the Great smell is the bitterness, which is ok.

Rich and tasty despite the low alcohol percentage. Hops’ balance is perfectly balanced.
