COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg: Filtered
Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.
This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. Thatís why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

On draught at Brewdog Shoreditch. Small head. You smell the passion fruit from a distinance already. Lots of exotic fruits + lemon/lime. In the taste, the resin side of the hops come to the foreground more. More evidence that you donít need a massive amount of alcohol to make a good beer.

Aroma: resin, pine, butter, citrus; Appearance: pale urine, small foamy head; Taste: medium bitterness, medium sourness, slight sweetness; Palate: bitter finish, medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture This is a "forest butter" ale. Highly drinkable, aromatic, smooth, sessionable.

BB 07/04/15. Poured a hazy brown amber colour with 5mm of white foam for a head that diminished to a collar that laced OK. Carbonation high and coarse. Aroma of sweet fruity hops with citrus, grapefruit. Taste of moderate level of nice fruity hops and a touch of sweet malt. Light body. Crisp and smooth on the finish.

Smells nice and hoppy but not as tasty as expected. A little thin and too sharp, over carbonated.

Bottle shared by Pure Evil. Thanks! Amber with a foam ring clinging to the glass. Aroma has light malt, faint mango, pineapple and pine. Taste is as above. Thin body, high carbonation, crisp and dry mouth feel. Dry, woody short aftertaste.

Orange. Good beige head and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, lime and pine shoots. Similar taste, with orange marmelade. Perhaps too much taste of lime juice. Otherwise decently balanced. Slightly waterish mouthfeel. Fine bitterness

A sessionable alternative to Punk IPA. Frickin excellent aroma, a real cleanser. Shame about the completely ludicrous and over-the-top marketing gobbledygook written all over the bottle. In the battle against corporate beer, it seems Brewdog are getting very rich indeed. Letís hope their ípunkí values enable them to do some good in the world.

Pours somewhat hazy yellow with a fairly big white quickly dissipating foam leaving some minor lacings. Aroma is fresh tropical fruit, pine, zest, mango. Taste is quite wattery, with tropical fruits and a moderate bitterness lingering. Light body, medium carbo. High drinkability.

Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours light, clear Golden. Aroma has lots of fruits like pear, peach and some berries. Citra hops shines through. Taste has some weak, watery malts, but lots of Nice, fruity hops. Again this slightly unripe pear, the peach and a nice, crisp bitterness, and a lively carbonation. Nice and easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wonderful citrus nose, grapefruit with blood orange. Two finger head. Clean on the front, smooth finish. Well done
