Actually Dog B! From the bottle @ Ligo Ziema beer fest in Latvia Riga. Intense aroma of malts with balsam and dried fruits. Intense flight between roasted malts, alcohol and hops. Nice balsam that can be drunk like cognac.

Black colour, no head. Aroma of coffee, chilli, dark chocolate. Taste is medium bitter, a bit sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Som Dog B på Melkebaren. God duft av kaffe, tjære og vanilje. Dyp sort farge. Lite brunt skum. God smak av vanilje, kakao og en litt skarp ettersmak. Lite snev av alkohol i smaken.

330 ml bottle from Shinanoya @ Shibuya. Pours almost pich black, high viscosity. Feels as if I am pouring some old motor oil into my glass. Head is minimal, some brown lacing. Aroma is mindblowing. It is thick, full of deeply roasted malts, cocoa, coffee, chillies, dark fruits, coffee, brown cane sugar, maple syrup - and did I mention coffee? I can cut this aroma with a knife. Taste does not let me down. It has full roast, sweet dark fruits, dark dark chocolate, coffee - and well balanced with chillies that blend well in the mix and you understand that there was something spicy going on only when the aftertaste comes. Aftertaste is long and aggressive on your palate. Massive beer, have a glass of water nearby when you are drinking it! It’s not a big bottle but it is better to share it with friends - or sip it yourself all through the evening.

Underbar Stout. Maltig doft och smak. Man kan förnimma choklad och kaffe. Komplex kropp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is super alcohol pungent, astringent, sweetish dark-malt, syrupy, balsamy. Too simple aroma for such brew. Taste is sweetish, darker malts bitter. Silky, smooth, thick mouthfeel, very far away reminds of barrel aging. Aroma with time becomes more sweet well rounded malt bill with some dried fruits touch; thick texture. I’m a bit disappointed cause of too alcohol in flavor, weak complexity by price/performance.

Blackness. Aroma is dark malt heaven, rich and black. Taste is dark malts showcase, oily and soy sauce. Very rich finish with real depth (chilli). As it warms chilli comes out more - my dream fulfilled! Overall, best BrewDog beer going, and a sense they have finally nailed something while also bringing some craziness to bear.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s Bush opening night. Aroma is sweet caramel, booze, touch of choc. Flavour is off the scale big. Choc, vanilla, oak , roast coffee, some chilli pepper like AB04. Palate is thick and velvety. Lingering choc and roast. Exceptional.

Bottle at Tadg’s BrewDog event. Nose of chocolate, soy, fruits, chili pepper and capsicum. Nearly black with lace. Peppery flavor, light burn, cocoa, coffee, well tangy peppers. Lightly roasty. A burn at the finish coming from both alcohol and the chillis. Nice. A bit too peppery for me, but well done.
