UPDATED: JUN 16, 2015 Re-rate Dog C from AGM 2014. Jet black, thin tan head, better carbonated than B for sure. Chilli heat builds nicely but doesn’t overpower this time, lots of dark chocolate notes too. Nice. Bottle of Dog B from Brewdog AGM 2013, shared at home. Pours jet black, but flat. No head. Fresh chilli peppers on the nose, liquorice, stone fruit. Taste of burnt sugar sweetness, then chilli burn. This just isn’t doing it for me, which is disappointing as I remember Dog A from the 2012 AGM being amazing.

Pours solid black with minimal head and no lacing. (4/5) Nose is strong roasty malt, coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, boozy dark fruit, liquorice. (9/10) Taste is strong sweet, strong bitter. (9/10) Full and slightly oily body, zero carbonation, lingering boozy finish. (5/5) Well, damn, ain’t that some shit. “Dog A,” huh? Well, y’know what they say about being on a sled team - if you’re not the lead dog, the view never changes. And this is the lead dog. A massive, beastly, sweet and bitter lead dog. Flat as a board and hot as hell. Nowhere near worth the price tag, y’understand, but still some serious shit. (18/20)

Keg at brewdog bar, Sheffield. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is strong with alcohol and chocolate and bourbon whiskey and liquorice. Taste is strong and bold, syrupy sweetness and tart tangy bitter alcohol. Thick and oily with carbonation that combines with the abv to leave your tongue humming. Very good.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a absolute pitch black colour, small fast diminishing dark tan head. Aroma is very very intense: strong notes of dark fruit at the start, followed by vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate and licorice; additional slightly "winy" notes, plus some wood and alcohol, especially as it warms up; awesome aroma. Taste is heavy sweet, slightly bitter. Full body, oily texture, flat carbonation. If Tokyo is the sweet one, this one is the fruity one.

(Bottle) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of cacao, coffee, liquorice, black rye bread, prunes, raisins and some vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with strong black coffee, cacao, dark chocolate, liquorice fudge, black rye bread, vanilla and a touch of chilli coming through after a while. Full body, slightly oily mouthfeel. A certain bitterness. Quite sweet. Loads of coffee and cacao, lots of taste. Quite drinkable and balanced for its strength, doesn’t really taste like 15%. Excellent beer.

Warto kupić sobie 2-3 inne piwa za te same pieniądze.

Bottle as Dog C. Black pour, almost no head. Aroma of roasted malts, slightly burnt, chilies, brandy, vanilla, a bit warming alcohol and spicy. Flavor is quite bitter, alcoholic and spicy. Decent body, quite sweet as well. A bit low on the carbonation.

Black with a thin brown layer on top. Smells coffe and vanilla. Taste more coffe and chocolate. Chilli, dry prunes and some sornes. Creamy mothfeel and a long aftertaste of everything.
