4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Opaque black with a non lasting weakish dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee seeds and chilli. Taste starts sweet malt and chocolate, pepper comes into play, bit of licorice, cocoa powder, bitter dry coffee active in the finish along with some alcohol. Full bodied and thick. Alcohol heat and chilli pepper leave a very warm bite in the back of the throat for a long aftertaste.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Very strong and complex aroma. Coffee and chocolate (smells like it was just made, really fresh). A bit of spicy aroma (maybe chillies) and some vanilla. Pours jet black with small head. Taste is incredible. Sweet, moderate bitterness, Really strong chocolate, long and noble aftertaste. Some liquor notes in there as well. Gets better as it gets warmer. Outstanding beer, best one I’ve tried so far. To sum it up: excellent ris.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A big rich beer, consumed 25 months after bottling. Coconut and chocolate in the residual. Chile heat is not as apparent perhaps because of the ageing. Above average mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2015 Brewdog Dog B (thanks Mario!). Poured a murky brown body. Heavy malt aroma, vague, solid raisins, sweet.... Taste... Dry raisins, just a touch hot from, presumably the pepeers... dry, vaguely bitter. Not great. Definitely not great. 6/3/6/4/14
Brewdog Dog C. Fuck... I would not have went for it if I knew they were all aliases. But still... Raisins, malt, bubblegum, fresh.... Heavy malty aroma, raisins, earthy, jammy. roasty. Just a touch too warm, slightly too aggressive alcohol and maybe earthiness. Better than B. 8/3/7/3/14
