Dec 18, 2009 Bottled. A red-amber beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - nutmeg, heather, and more, on a honey back ground. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, honey, and spices - nutmeg, heather, and other spices I can’t pick out. The finish is dry spicy.

Sep 16, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to orange with a bubbly white head. Dense pinewood hops aroma. Smooth hoopy and only slight malty base flavour. Quite spice and complex. Medium to lighter bodied. Lingering dry and slight oily hoppy finish.

[ Batch #101 ]. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy - peppery, heater honey sweetness notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration and a peppery spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (020808)

Aug 6, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is alcohol, riped fruits, some spices and herbs along iwth mild honey. Flavour is spices, mild grassyness, some hops as well as herbal notes. Flavour was interesting.

Sep 21, 2008 Bottle, 7.8%. Good caramelly aroma. Clear copper colour. The flavour is caramelly and spicy. I cannot pinpoint the spice but I do not recognize any of the ones mentioned on the label. Rough hoppiness.
