Brewed with ten different types of malt, and blended together with Scottish heather honey, it is a pantheon to the gods of intricacy and nuance; a beer that celebrates a confluence of ideas. History is written by the victors, and Dogma is Scotch Ale triumphant; evolved.
Complex, indulgent and encapsulating, Dogma gives more than a cursory nod to history, to make you ponder the very nature of beer itself.

Dark brown pour with tan head. Aroma and taste are malty with an artificial sweetness. Not bad, but not something I would go for.

Very strong rich coffee aromas that leave a lovely taste in the mouth. Probably best as a one of hald on a trip to the pub. No more than a single bottke at home

Bottle in the Robert Gillow, Lancaster. Ruby coloured ale with no head whatsoever. Nice sweet toasty notes. Wood and chocolate too. Good, but not awesome.

A really strong one with some more than ripe fruits, a bit of pepper and some sweetness in the back. High drinkability which will hit you badly with its high abv. Not bad but quite unexpected from brewdog.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. Pours out in a deep dark brown colour with smooth body and steady low head. Aroma of roasted barley and torf. Taste of barley, leaves, woods, torf, dark bread, mild hops, chocolate and oak. Special beer - not that easy to drink but nice and quaffable anyway.

355 ml bottle. Pours a dark orange body with a thin white head. Aromas of malts, caramel, maybe smoke, hints of dough. Similar taste but not so intense. Malts, caramel, some smoke, maybe plums. Nice aftertaste, sweet. Medium to full body with low carbonation.
