Black, no light through, tan head, little lacing
Aroma - rich dark honey...rich caramel malts...very malty...no hops...some soft treacle...dark sugars...big big malts
Taste - as the aroma...dark sweet fruits...raisins...don’t get the heather...bit belgian to me...yummy malts...soft treacle
Palate - medium carb, medium body, very sticky texture...sweet sweet palate. Finish as main flavour...smooth rich sweet dark fruity malts
Overall - Loads of yummy malts...great stuff...maybe a bit over sweet...I remember old Dogma as being more hoppy?

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark, black colour with a thin, tan head. Great sweet, syrup-like aroma. Light mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Taste is also soft and nicely bitter. Seems like a great session beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Wine Lord, Constitution Hill, Birmingham. Pours very dark brown, with a thin beige coating. Smells strong and sweet, with butter. Taste of honey, but mixed deep inside a malty sweet sandwich. Tastes very strong, but doesn’t feel it in the finish, which is good. Excellent mouthfeel - smooth and firm. Not my favourite style, but certainly an admirable beer indeed.
