COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with ten different types of malt, and blended together with Scottish heather honey, it is a pantheon to the gods of intricacy and nuance; a beer that celebrates a confluence of ideas. History is written by the victors, and Dogma is Scotch Ale triumphant; evolved.
Complex, indulgent and encapsulating, Dogma gives more than a cursory nod to history, to make you ponder the very nature of beer itself.

22.4 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a tulip glass (batch 120). Dark brown, almost black, with a dissipating tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with caramel, honey, nuts, brown sugar, toffee, herbs, fruit and light spice. Similar flavor, quite sweet with minimal bitterness. Medium body with a slick oily feel, low carbonation and a sweet finish.

A deep dark mahogany colour with tanned head. A thick malty and very sweet ale with a slight roasted bitter finish, it has a nice lingering warmth.

Pours dark and oily with a solid head that melts away unevenly. Has an exotic malted cola taste, quite sweet but offset but some bitter and roasty notes.

Bottle share at the house. Thanks Dan! Snifter pour. Deep brown in color with a fluffy head. Good lacing. Deep aroma of roasted malts and toastyness. Some booze and hops on the nose as well. Taste was roasted malts, toffee, hops, coffee and booze. Medium body, good carbonation. Rather dry finish with a heavy malt aftertaste.

Dark heavy mouthfeel. Toasty deep flavor. A little bit of balsamic vinegar like qualities. Strong malt flavor . Well done, not one I would drink a lot of though.

Pours a barely translucent, reddish chocolate brown with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Malt-cored aroma teases the nose with caramel, horehound and even fruity hints. Flavor has malty, molasses and caramel notes plus whispers of horehound and pear - a bit on the syrupy side, though. Texture is thick and firm, if not fizzy; woody hops sneak through in the finish. This one will have you barking.
