COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The truth. You don’t want to hear the truth. The truth’s no longer out there bubba. Just chicken ass lies. Become a Dogma Disciple. Believe in the birds and the bees. Act crazy, be heavily armed at all times and scream in German.

Dogma is an indulgent, decadent and encapsulating scotch ale brewed with 10 different types of malt all blended together with Scottish heather honey. Soak up the sweet nectar like a jackrabbit on heat.

This beer is not cool. You may think it is, but that is just a beautiful lie fabricated by clowns and gypsies.

BB 21-03-13, opened 04-07-2013. Black beer with a medium head. Very sweet bread on the nose, ripe dark fruits, raisins. Sweet caramel with roastiness. Very soft and silky smooth mouth feel. Full body. This hasn’t got the same bitterness as the fresh stuff but it still is quite wonderful. I love this both ways.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2013 Bomber shared at home. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of dark sugars - molasses, treacle, demerara. Touch of honey on the taste. Could do with a touch more balancing bitterness, but otherwise very nice. Good carbonation, body, mouthfeel and finish.

Copper in color with a boozy head. Aromas of caramel, herbal hops, toffee, and just a hint of oak impression. Flavors of caramel, oak, herb hops, and a slight hint of pepper. Medium sweet and lightly bitter. Not really any stand out flavor except for the peppery note. A good balance of malt and hops.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2013 Appearance: Dark ruby/brown with a tan head about a finger thick. Aroma: Malty, dough, bready, honey with a hint of caramel. Taste: light bitterness with a medium sweetness and slight sourness. Palate: Light body, thin texture, slight carbonation, lingering toffee, burnt malt bitterness and quite astringent. The bitterness seemed to be balanced by the sweetness. Comments: Enjoyed this one, served in snifter and left glass lace.

Bottle at home. The colour is dark nut brown with a beige medium head. Sweet aroma of coffee, leather, brown sugar, caramel, cocoa and some licorice. The flavour has more chocolate, lactose, and roasted malt in the background with coffee and something reminiscent of Baileys liqueur. Has a smooth and slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A sweet ale but is balanced and tasteful.

330 ml bottle, bbd Jul 13. Pours a dark mahogany with brick red highlights at the edges. Small coffee colored head. Aromas of roasted malt, caramel, stewed plums and cocoa powder. Taste is initially dark fruit, before a firm roasted note and light hop bitterness comes through. Not getting any honey, although there’s some sweetness (a bit sticky) at the back end. Big body. Lingering finish. Good.
