The truth. You don’t want to hear the truth. The truth’s no longer out there bubba. Just chicken ass lies. Become a Dogma Disciple. Believe in the birds and the bees. Act crazy, be heavily armed at all times and scream in German.

Dogma is an indulgent, decadent and encapsulating scotch ale brewed with 10 different types of malt all blended together with Scottish heather honey. Soak up the sweet nectar like a jackrabbit on heat.

This beer is not cool. You may think it is, but that is just a beautiful lie fabricated by clowns and gypsies.

[330ml bottle from Westholme Stores] Black-brown with a large tan head and a light fizz. Coffee up front, then honey, chocolate, charcoal and a hint of health drink. Lovely relaxing late night beer maybe a little sweet and sticky by the end, but it does have the roast malt bitterness to balance. Lovely stuff.

Dark brown, small brown head. Strange, unusual roma of popy seeds, honey and cookies. Taste is sweet, alcoholic, cookie-like. Neat beer.

330 ml bottle. #076. BB 17/03/13. From brewdog.com.
Dark brown colour with a tiny tan head. Malt, some sweetness, metal and syrup in the aroma. The flavour is roasted malt, strong sweetness, bitterness, something slightly burned and syrup. Rich. Warming.

330mL bottle at Brewdog Birmingham, pours a deep dark amber / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma of wet dog (?!), some dark fruits, and a little caramel. Flavour of caramel, dark fruits, and a healthy dosage of hops that feels out of place in a scotch ale. Medium-bodied for the style, without as much potency as I would’ve hoped for. Nevertheless, decent scotch ale.

Great balance between hops and roasted notes with coffee and chocolate in this one. From tap at BrewDog Camden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
