COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with ten different types of malt, and blended together with Scottish heather honey, it is a pantheon to the gods of intricacy and nuance; a beer that celebrates a confluence of ideas. History is written by the victors, and Dogma is Scotch Ale triumphant; evolved.
Complex, indulgent and encapsulating, Dogma gives more than a cursory nod to history, to make you ponder the very nature of beer itself.

Dark as like you, tan head. Coffee and liquorice nose. Some bovril notes too! More intense liquorice in the the flavour. Thick mouthfeel. A great late night beverage.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala, Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head and some clingy lace. The aroma is rich red berry fruit, alcohol, some malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a big fruity, light burning alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

33cl bottle. Dark brown pour with thin brown head, no lacing. Aromas of caramel, roast and coffee. Taste is sweet, bitter and full-bodied. Low carbonation, oily palate. Aftertaste is sweet and warm. Good beer, a bit too sweet for my taste.

Aroma’s really spil out the glass. Sweet, boozy, some hops. Palate is long and dry. Rich, robust. Drinks like a real sipper- thought it was up around 9%. Delicious

Bottle. Black with a small head. Malty and slightly sweet. Quite powerful but at the same time quite complex. Sweetness dominates but doesn’t take over. A good example of this style.

Comme dit le brasseur, it’s a lie fabricated by clowns and gypsies …
