COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The truth. You don’t want to hear the truth. The truth’s no longer out there bubba. Just chicken ass lies. Become a Dogma Disciple. Believe in the birds and the bees. Act crazy, be heavily armed at all times and scream in German.

Dogma is an indulgent, decadent and encapsulating scotch ale brewed with 10 different types of malt all blended together with Scottish heather honey. Soak up the sweet nectar like a jackrabbit on heat.

This beer is not cool. You may think it is, but that is just a beautiful lie fabricated by clowns and gypsies.

Aromas of toffee, cherries, and molasses. Brown with golden highlights. Sweet and savory, with some earthy, licorice-like flavors. Medium body, very low carbonation, and finishes sweet but not cloying.

Intense, brown bread aroma. Dark brown cloudy, white head. Medium sweetness, little bitter, umani taste. Something unpleasent about palate but can’t really think what.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Small off white head, good lacing. Very dark body, hints of ruby brown at the edges. Nose is sweet and nutty, honey. Flavour is roasted nuts, malty sweetness, nice honey finish. Earthy aftertaste. Good thick mouthfeel, a bit syrupy, very little carbonation. Good scotch ale.

Oh man this is a good beer. Keg. Pours deep ruby red with a brown head. Good retention and good lacing. Aroma is immediately floods of coffee with cocoa and some more subtle hints of vanilla. Taste is sweet malt, chocolate, cocoa and coffee. The coffee flavours linger at the end and is joined by some roasted malt and a medium bitterness. The body becomes quite tarry towards the end. Medium body, low carbonation and a little bit sticky.

Bomber; batch #120. Appearance: Finger dark brown head, brown copper color, clear. Aroma: molasses, poppy, honey, fruit (prune), licorice, nutty. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish, cloying sweetness. Taste: prune sweetness, into cloying molasses sweetness with hints of licorice and chocolate, finishes is light nutty. Overall, very different, but the balance is a little too sweet for me, but maybe this is mostly due to the vintage. Good in small amounts.

I get choc and a nutty aroma from this brown brew with a small light brown head. I get a choc earthy and a rasin flavor in this medium bodied brew. It has a good carb. Not a bad brew. Did a decent job.
