3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@Weiland’s Market, Columbus OH. Clear, very dark, ruby brown, big, frothy tan head, streak and ribbons of lace. Taste is very sweet caramel malt with overtones of dark fruit, molasses, buttered biscuit, maybe a little cloves. This grows noticeably through the palate before giving way to a small amount of bittering. The sweet malt, along with alcohol warming, slowly returns as the finish fades. A big brew, particularly for the 7.4% abv.

22.4 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a tulip glass (batch 120). Dark brown, almost black, with a dissipating tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with caramel, honey, nuts, brown sugar, toffee, herbs, fruit and light spice. Similar flavor, quite sweet with minimal bitterness. Medium body with a slick oily feel, low carbonation and a sweet finish.

Pours dark and oily with a solid head that melts away unevenly. Has an exotic malted cola taste, quite sweet but offset but some bitter and roasty notes.

Bottle share at the house. Thanks Dan! Snifter pour. Deep brown in color with a fluffy head. Good lacing. Deep aroma of roasted malts and toastyness. Some booze and hops on the nose as well. Taste was roasted malts, toffee, hops, coffee and booze. Medium body, good carbonation. Rather dry finish with a heavy malt aftertaste.

Brewdog. dogma. scotch ale. 7,4%. en meget meget meget fyldig øl. men en smule blød i smagen til slut. en god eftersmag. lidt bittersød i midtsmagen.har ikke smagt noget der minder om i samme fyldighed
