One day. One brewery. Seven thousand co-creators. Two hundred brewers. The result? Electric India. This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution.
An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an India Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.
A beer for the people, by the people direct from the craft beer republic of BrewDog.

Tap at Brewdog Gothenburg. A saison smell, nice and fresh. Taste is a bit peppery. Very easy to drink, a good saison, one of my favourites.

Bottle. Pours a yellow gold with a thin white head. Nose has a peach and nectarine note with some doughy wheats. A little marzipan. Taste is orange, peach, lemon/lime with wheatiness. Quite a smooth taste, with a touch of honey and the black pepper comes through in the aftertaste. Quite a decent brew, but really not a regular sup.

Poured from the 33cl bottle. 7.2ABV. Nice yellow-orange color with small head. Fruity aroma (mostly oranges) with some yeast. More fruits and yeast on the tongue, with a good amount of bitterness in the finish. Reminds me of british marmalade. Alcohol is noticeable but fits well into the overall taste. Decent carbonation, medium-bodied. Nice refreshing Saison.

(BrewDog Electric India) Bottle 330 ml at home, from skullgeorge, thanks! Poured into a tulip glass, ABV 7.2% Beautiful colour, bright golden yellow with orange hues, tall white head, soapy and a bit thin, with good retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. Clean aroma, some sweet malty notes, but also yeast, grass, flowers, and hints of peach/apricot. Taste of grass, hops, floral notes, yeast on the finish and a mild bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, good carbonation -on the high side-, quite dry on the palate. Overall a very good saison, with a clean profile, very drinkable.

Bottle. Clear gold with hints of orange, a dissipating white head. The aroma has sweet orange, dank pineapple, caramel and biscuity malt notes, something a bit stinky, esters. The flavour is sweet malt, with orange, a bubblegum kind of note, yeast. Weird but refreshing.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a big lively white head. Herbal aroma with orange peel, lemon, peppery yeast after a while, taste is bittersweet, honey, citrus fruits, spicy yeast, lasting aftertaste of tropical fruits.

Cloudy orange color, small off-white head. Orange and lemon aroma, slightly hoppy. Medium body, lively carbonation. Not bad at all, but I have kind of expected more.

Draft - Sweet banana, grass and spice. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet yeasty banana and some grass. I don’t get the hoppy notes.
