(Bottle) Pours near black with nougat colored head. The aroma holds sweaty grapefruit, black currant candy, hard strawberry candy, peppery/minty herbs, mild coffee, tobecco sweaty liquorice and roasted grain. The flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light to medium acidic with notes of citrus, pine/herbs/grass/leafs, mild fruits, liquorice, darkbread, nutshells and roast. The mouthfeel clean and light tart with a light carbonation. Balanced roast and grapefruity hops on the finish. Near medium bodied.

330 ml bottle courtesy of Hugh (non-RB). Pours dark brown, almost black, with a small white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, pine, caramel, orange zest, grass, liquorice fudge, chocolate, rubber and hints of vanilla, sweetened coffee and . Taste is sweet, bitter, slightly salty and very tiny sour with roasted malts, coffee, ash, tar, pine, orange peal, burnt caramel, rubber and hints of metal, lemon juice and salty liquorice. Mouthfeel is round and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with coffee, pine, vanilla, grass and dark grapes.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, rich hops, flowers, chocolate and caramel notes. Great beer.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Very dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter fnish. Roasted, Creamy palate.

Pours a clear brown with a small off-white head. Sweet with aromas of caramel and hints of liquorish. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Quite hoppy - spruce aromas. Bitter finish. Nicely balanced.

Cuivrée, col d’un doigt ocre.
Arôme note de caramel/malt, moka, houblon léger laissant un beau bouquet fleuri et agrumes.
En bouche, malt grillé restant assez doux le tout sur une pointe houblon légèrement amer et rappelant le pamplemousse. Café vers un expresso épais. Pas vraiment pu y gouter l’usage des copeaux de chêne.

Pours deep dark red, almost black colour with small head. Aroma of salmiac, ripe fruits, lots and lots of hops, roasted malts and liquorice. Flavour of liquorice, salmiac, roasted malts and ripe fruits. Excellent.
