Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours a clear, orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Lovely aroma, lots of yeast, lemon rind and grass. Flavor ain’t bad either, bits of bread, Belgian yeast, citrus, honey and earth. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish with citrus rind, yeast to spare, grass, straw, light bread and sugar. Very good.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London NW5 on 7th January 2010. Named BrewDog BELGIAN BLONDE. Gold with a fully lacing white head. Hoppy, bitter and spicy with a honey note. Grassy hop, bitter dry finish on a textured mouthfeel. Rather like how I imagine Orval would taste if cask conditioned.

On tap at Mahars. Very creamy light beer, amazing amount of body and hops for such a dosile beer.

Bottle at The Rake, Borough. Some Belgian yeast on the aroma, like the Punk Monk, but the base beer, the Trashy Blonde comes through well. Very decent and like the Punk Monk I think the yeast strain integrates well with the regular beer. I like it a lot.

Bottle at The Rake. Cheers Tom. Clear yellow gold with a medium white head. The Belgian lick of the yeast works well enough with the citrus hops and sweet malts and makes for clean tasty brew. Good session beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 22/11/09. Badged as "Trashy Belgian" but appears to be the same beer. Pale gold with a slight white head. Light citrus hop aroma with some sherbet sweetness. Easy drinking, with sweet malts, plety of lemon, grapefruit and apricot and a decent dry finish. Very good.

A Mes rate. Bottle at the Rake.
Clean gold with a decent white head. What can I say? It’s Trashy Blonde with Belgian twist. Similar to the Punk, the yeast works well and gives it a bit more body and seems to add a little bite to the hops. Good stuff.

Cask and bottle at The Rake. Alround rating: Cask wasnt that hot, a bit dull on the belgian side and too rawly bitter. However this is for the bottle. Pale and sweet malt, tastes like theres wheat in here but could just be the yeast, its the same yeast strain as cali-belgic uses at stone and you can see it clearly from the bottle, the finish is bitter but the carbonation helps it be clean and drinkable.

330ml bottle from brewery. Very bright pale gold, with a little white head that dissipates. Gentle fruity nose. Fruity on the palate, with an easy drying finish\. There’s a hint of candy in the finish too. User friendly.
