COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Say hello to Ghost Deer. A defiant and irreverent, devil may care, supersonic bitch of a beer. Ghost Deer is a 28% fermented beer, the strongest ever fermented beer which is only ever served from a single handcrafted and authentic deer’s head.

The beer itself is a robust 28% blonde ale. After fermentation it is aged for 6 months in some amazing whisky, bourbon, rum and sherry barrels. There is only one Ghost Deer head and this beer will only ever be available on draft, served in a stemmed glass, direct from the mouth of the deer himself.

Miniature bottle from Drink of Fulham. Dark amber, no head. Incredibly rich aroma, like a top-range tawny with vanilla, orange zest as well as a palate of other fruits. Marcipane, whisky, orange chocolate flavours. Noticeable alcohol. Borderline and dangerously exciting.

60 ml bottle. Golden with no head. Aroma is very complex; boozy, cognac, pears, fruity, malt, more alcohol, wood, apples and spice. Taste is a lot flatter, malt and caramel with pears, alcohol, lots of warming alcohol, fruit and wood.

Pours a rich dark amber with no head or carbonation. Swirling it around leaves a nice oily coating on the glass. Nose is sherry, caramel, raisins, fig jam, apple. Taste is complex with caramel, raisins, figs, dates, honey, vanilla, bitter almond. Aftertaste is somewhat boozy, which is to be expected, but also butterscotch, vanilla, whisky notes. Really quite good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Coolest beer bottle ever! Pours clear deep amber with NO head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch, madeira barrel, strong alcohol fumes, raisins, dates, figs, etc. Taste is big alcohol sweet, nuts, caramel, butterscotch. Long, lingering and warming alcohol finish, again and not surprisingly very sweet. Body is full, creamy to oily, with no carbonation. A much, much better beer than Penguin, Bismarck or End of History. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 6 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with no head. Sweet oxidized caramel in the nose and heavy booze. Rich body, no carbonation, thick caramel, very soft and pleasing wooden notes - heavy on the Sherry in particular. Very boozy finish. But enjoyable. 050413
