UPDATED: FEB 26, 2010 2010-02-26, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 7-5-8-4-16=41
Copper color, hazy; creamy head. The aroma is mild, but clearly cheesy (Parmigiano Reggiano, call it parmesan). Good malt and caramel flavor, enough sweetness, full bodied, with good hops; strong bitterness; overall well balanced. Well built beer, but the cheese presence, even if not bad, is a bit weird.

2007-11-20, bottle, 7-3-8-5-16=39
Blond color, clean; huge head, but no perlage. The aroma is hoppy, very earthy, some manure. Sweet flavor, but without the expected body/malt/toffee; powerful and aromatic hopping, fruity and earthy/grassy. Really different, maybe a bit too pale and sweet (I mean, without the usual body and the adequate toffee balance, but really enjoyable for the lovers of the style (as I am).

Grovlam (4156) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 1, 2007
Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking pale hay like color. Very sweet hoppy nose. Notes of pineapple, elderflower, citrus and hint of grapefruit. Fruit, caramel and other floral mix of notes. Medium bodied with a dry texture and an average carbonation. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Lingering bitter floral finish.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2007 Bottle: Poured a coppery amber with a light white head. The aroma is Fruit with a very hoppy nose tingling smell. The taste is hoppy and acidic on my tongue, very impressive. Finish is a dry bitter, but pleasant as well! What a first night in Glasgow....Karl even likes it.

Fukito (751) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - NOV 23, 2007
Bottle from Cornelius Edinbrugh, november 07. Sweet almost syrupy matliness, with some strong fruity notes and fruity hops flavor. Alcohol almost unnoticable albeit the obvious warmth for a 9%. Full to medium mouthfeel, tasty and big, but a bit too clumsy and obnubilating at some points. Lasting earthy aftertaste. Nice, earthy spicy hops aftertaste. Fruity, spicy slighty piney aroma. Nice but not up to par with flavor. Clear, rather pale golden color with a small white head. Powerfull, flavorfull strong IPA.

Skinnyviking (7129) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2007
Bottle. Verly lov and harly existing white head. Clear and beautiful gollden amber body. Citrussy and hoppy aroma (promising). Flavor dominated by the alcohold (not good). Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertastee. Too bad that the alcohold flavor is so dominant.

uhre (384) - DENMARK - NOV 23, 2007
The aroma has grassy notes, the head is white and doesn’t last very long. Looks just like any pilsner with a very bad palate. The flavor and most important aspect of a beer is very good, has a lot of grassy notes from the hops. There is also a tint of alcohol, but it’s well-hidden in the hops.

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
33 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Clear golden colour with a little head. Hoppy nose with hints of grapefruit, and citrus. Also flavour of grapefruit, citrus, peach and alcohol. Not a very amarican style IIPA, need a lot of caramel. But not bad anyway.

Christian (11209) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2010 Old version bottled. Slightly cloudy golden with a lasting white head. The unique aroma is nothing like IIPAs I know of. Peach, tea, grass, herb (sage?) apricot, orange, grain/pilsner malt. Flavour is rather sweet, dominated by grass, peach and grain, with a very bitter finish. Interesting, but far from perfect. In the end, it feels like a more bitter and stronger version of that awful English invention, the golden ale. 7-3-6-3-12

Cask at You’ll Never Walk Alone in Kolding. Hazy amber with a creamy white head. Hoppy aroma dominated by grapefruit and pine. The flavour has some biscuit and malt with lots of citrus and pine hops. Wonderful velvet mouthfeel. 7-4-7-4-14
