This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

A riot of flavour!! This beer grabs you by the tongue and punches you right in the throat, while its mates hang back and whale on every flavor receptor in your mouth. Hops is the obvious aggressor throughout this brew. It’s a hoppy onslaught from front to back with clever little flashes of added complexity to further dominate the senses. The aroma is a huge chorus of dank, grassy, fruity hops with some diacetylic butterscotchiness that is both complemented and contrasted with a hint of saltiness. This is the Jackson Pollock of the IPA scene – big and artfully chaotic!

Bottled in CraftRepublic Moscow. Dark golden. Very pleasant aroma of fruits both stone and citruses. Reach intensive hop flavor with really similar notes to aroma blanced by solid malty medium to medium high body. Overall balance is almost perfect. For 150 IBU 9.2 abv its so easy to drink, good job Brewdog!

Yep, hardcore is right. From the bottle we et a nice creamy head stuck around for a surprisingly long time. The aroma is dark and drying but with hints of citrus. The taste flavour profile is full on, bold and dry. We've got wood, grapefruits, grass cuttings and a malty, delectable finish. The IBU is daunting, and very drying, but it works well with all the other components tied in.

Reddish gold pour, nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, hops, weed and malt. Taste is pine, citrus, grapefruit, orange and malt. Long malty finish that’s dry and thick. Hops up front dominate the palate, but so good. Very good double IPA.

Big bold in-your-face hops. A blast of pine with a heavy malt backing. Lingering bitterness. Good stuff- high octane.

Cask, Brewdog Aberdeen City. Pours pale amber with a minimal head. Scent is mild citrus. Taste is bitter hoppy citrus. Palette is an amazing, rough blend of grass and earthy notes, a tiny bit sticky but not syrup-like. Great.
