This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

330 ml bottle. Bought in an Auchan in Strasbourg. Clear amber color with creamy white head. Very nice ipa smell, if you dislike ipa smell there’s just something wrong with you; just so much nice fruitness. Creamy taste, not for everybody I guess, but a shure shot for any ipa lover. fills your mouth and lots of complex endings. Fantastic beer.

I don’t even... Tesco Finest DIPA. Hazy orange, bright and visible wink of carb and decent soft white cap. Peachy orange sweet buzz of a nose. Firm stringy clementine and clean boozy warp of initial taste. Carbonation is clinical enough, sweeps any scars of sweetness on the finish away from the mouthfeel. Dry and dewy in the right places and reassuringly boozy papaya and bitter in the others.

Malts, caramel, hops, fruit, citrus, orange,

Clear amber coloured beer with a dense medium off-white head.

Starts soft (for an IPA) and sweet, moves towards a slightly bitter and dry end. The slightly oily palate works good with the taste.

33 cl bottle, got it in a corner store in Zagreb, served in a tulip. Dark orange to dark amber, unfiltered, with minimal white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, floral, fruity, light toasted, mild toffee. Medium to full body, low carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet with medium-high bitterness, long bitter finish, texture is oily.

Bottle. Very strong aroma of citrus, mango and, coming just after, honey. Copper appearance with small, long lasting head and nice lacing . Sweet in first taste with pleasant, short bitterness coming little bit later. Good stuff.

Cloudy dark orange amber with a small white head. Nose is pine and citrus with some green fruit notes along with a moderate caramel. Well balanced light sweetness to support a prominent pine bitterness. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a long lingering dry bitter finish.

7/7/2010 2:24:27 AM On tap at Beer Temple. Amber body with a tall head. Nose of bitter and hops aplenty. Really filling taste of hops and pine. Very yummy with bread and caramel notes. Lots of hops in the finish. Delectable.

9.2%abv. Bottled. Well, if you see a 9.2% ale, you’ll expect something extremely strong and aggressive. Not this one though, sweet and fruity aroma. Clear amber colour, medium white head. Fruity taste of various types of fruit. Bitter finish. My first Imperial IPA ever, I still cannot believe this is a 9.2%abv ale, even felt less alcoholy than the Liberty Ale I had earlier today. BrewDog will never disappoint.
