330ml bottle from BrewDog direct. A beer with a real kick. Explosive on the palate with the intense bitterness you’d expect given the IBUs involved. The bitterness understandably overcomes and soon dominates the malty and slightly floral aromas, but remarkably balanced for what it is.

Doea what it says on the bottle, an IPA with the ability to wreck your night. Interesting aroma, classis IPA taste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated because this was what it said it was going to be. Although confusingly I didn’t enjoy the overly sweetness that this has, and I could pick the alcohol. Not sure that I would go again though. This is harsh and abrasive in places, and soft in others. I;m not sure it’s well thought out.

Dark amber/copper color. Medium body. Flavor is surprisingly balanced for having 150 ibus. Aroma is of earthy and piney hops...bold. Flavors are big caramel and malt sweetness over huge hop bitterness. 9.2abv is well masked or blended. Sneaky strong awesome brew!

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from P&M-Getränke. Filtered golden-yellow, with a small head.
Floral, hoppy aromas, holding of a little. Malt is also recognizable, along with hints of citrus.
This beer tastes actually much intenser than is smells. Begins hoppy, fresh for an imperial IPA, with grassy, citraic notes, along with bready malts. But that impression lasts only for the first moment, after that an incredible bitterness cuts of the upcoming malt sweetness. Hops get supported well by the bitterness, altough the bitterness soon stands on the palate more or less alone. Hop bitterness kicks in with an explosion on the tongue, which is, at first glance a little unpleasant, because it totally washes away the whole up to that point developed taste. But hop flavors get back and work well together with the dominant bitterness. Also some hints of malt tend to pass through, which adds an exquisite depth to the ale. Mingle together to a suble honey impression which underlines the still bitter, hoppy, dry character. Seems still a little unbalanced, but in a way the ale intends to be, therefore you can expect a rollercoaster on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pear, apple, citrus and hops is what I get off this beers aroma. Good head, hazy amber in color. Citrus bitterness, roastyness, good sweetness mixed in also. Not heavy at all, VERY good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber pour with a medium head, tropical fruit aroma, mainly mango. Taste is malty, with the usual tropical and citrus touches, with a mild hops finish resulting in a strong bitter aftertaste. Very good
