This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Difficult not to use expletives describing this one. The first 33cl bottle 8ve drunk which deserves the size. Almost a new genre of drink. Not a normal beer. Intense. Hopp extreme, bitter extreme, alcohol extreme. Worked. Every way you judged it. Couldn’t rise to this every night...... But as a treat WOW.

As Tesco Finest American Double IPA, 330ml bottle. Wow! What a beer. Big powerful aromas, big flavours, massive bitterness. A few times a year I try a beer that makes me say "wow" out loud. I always associated a 9.2% beer with the terrible "special brew" type of beers I tried and hated 20 years ago. The type of beer people drink for the effect rather than the taste. This beer changes all that. I think that it is probably a beer that you either love or hate, I loved it.

Deep golden / amber colour with off-white head. Beautiful! Nose: Lots of fruity hops; Floral, grass, honey, citrus. Nice! Taste: Lots of hoppy bitterness and some slight sweetness. Rich, semi-creamy body. The 9,2% alcohol is barely noticeable. Very well balanced! A powerhouse of an IPA which avoids killing you with hops and alcohol because of how well these elements are balanced with the slight, malty sweetness, the fruitiness and the lively carbonation. Finish: Long and well balanced bitter-sweet finish. A great, powerful and very well balanced IPA!!

Barwa prawie miedziana, klarowna.
