Pours a pretty amber with a foamy head. Nice grapefruit and citrus aroma. Bittery citrus that’s very dry. Like eating the rind of the fruit. Finish is not to my liking.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: great and intense aroma of fruits (maybe mango, pineapple), hops, citrus. No hints of alcohol.
Appearance: nice golden color, above average head thickness, almost white creamy head with average retention and a little Brussels’ lace. Hazy.
Taste: light sweetness, heavy bitterness, no sourness.
Palate: light-to-medium body, oily texture, soft-to-average carbonation, long bitter, dry, fruity and a little citric finish.
Overall: a lot of nice fruity aromas and great appearance. Nice fruity (grapefruit?), hoppy flavors with a loooooong bitter and pleasant finish. Very well balanced, the alcohol is hidden behind the bitterness and even the warning effect seems it doesn’t exist despite the high level of alcohol. An amazing beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 330ml from the local alco monopoly. Nice amber color, good lacy head. Pleasant fruity aroma, some pine. Taste fairly sweet, mango, grapefruit. Pine again. Hoppiness surprisingly balanced, lingers with a slight dryness. Smooth, alcohol is well hidden. Well worth the highly taxed Finnish price. Probably one bottle at a time is sufficient though. Will buy another one eventually, thats for sure.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma isn’t too strong, though my nose may be off today. Appearance is a lovely cherry read with snow white head. The taste initially is fruity that falls into a nutty after burn. Overall a very pleasant drink.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amazing smell. The hop use in this beer is astonishing, smells so sweet and juicy, the flavour is as strong as the beer is. Juicy, bitter with warming alcohol... Ok I won’t use brewdog trendy hype words to describe this beer, but this one is worthy of its name.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
330ml bottle from Scotmid.
Small white head, decent lacing. Clear amber body. Nose is pine, menthol, stone fruit, caramel. Flavour is stewed fruit, burnt sugar, molasses, caramel, loads of bitterness. Light carbonation, good chewy mouthfeel, a bit sticky. Tremendous, massive IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Possibly the best IPA I’ve had on these shores. In the American style this is bold, hoppy, fizzy and strong.
