This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden to copper colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus, pine and floral. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is well balanced and is a bit more bitter than sweet. Overall, a very good IPA that I want to repeat.

Gold pour, white head. Resiny hops up front and throughout the beer. Bitter finish, light malts.

@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium copper, persistent heavy head cover, lace dots. Taste is malt and pine hops, distinctive in that most of the flavor holds off until the swallow and then it bursts open in the mouth. Simple, straightforward, and very appealing.

Still as cheeky and in your face as the first time I drank it. I think this is a great, great beer. It looks good, and smells like you’re squashing fresh hops between your fingers and sniffing it. Bitter and sweet goes right in hand and the strong alcohol fuels all the pineapple and other tropical fruits which in turn are smothered in toffee. Those yeast cells sure did their job, this is strooong!

This draft brew from a bottle shop poured a head of frothy medium to large sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated semi-transparent dark orange colored body and a good lacing. The almost non-existent aroma was mild hop. The hot sharp vinous crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of bitter rye old ale cloves mild citrus vinous spices candy caramel crisp and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2014 Cloudy amber, with a good creamy white head. The aroma is full of citrus, hops and caramel grains. Taste is balanced, with sweet malts and toffee followed by a great hoppiness with citrus traces.

Finom kis IPA, kóstolásra érdemes. Aki még nem járatos az IPA területén, annak kezdésnek is jó lehet szerintem.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours a clear, bright amber with half a finger of white soapy head. Little bit of lacing present. Aroma is dominated by pine resin, with some little grassy and floral notes from the hopes, as well as a sweet fruity undercurrent reminiscent of pineapple, and some citrus (probably lime). Little bit of alcohol present but hardly a dealbreaker. Really quite sweet malty taste with a lot of caramel/toffee and a bit of wholemeal bread, combining nicely with a little bit of citrus and near-perfectly balanced by the hoppy bitterness in both the front and back ends. Medium body and fairly lively carbonation which works well to add some extra sharpness on the tounge, though not excessively so. Does pretty much everything I expect from a good double IPA; great stuff.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle about 3.5 months before the printed Best Before date. Poured a hazy deep straw color with a minimal head. Smells of pine and grass. Alcohol is prevalent in the flavor that covers some of the bitterness. It's a bit over the top for me. The booziness makes it feel heavy and not very refreshing.
