This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2015 Poured from the 4-pack into the pint glass, looks orangy-brown with a nice chunky foam collar. The taste is hoppy, juicy, spicy, with some bitter at the end, very delicious, I would not have guessed it was 9.2%. It would not surprise me to learn that many drinkers were evicted from there homesteads for playing old LP’s of Agnostic Front way too loud after drinking this beer.

Beautiful clear copper color with low off white head. Caramel malt, toffee aroma with a strong grapefruit and some pine hops presence. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malt some toffee and with very bitter grapefruit, pine, bit floral hops. Alcohol presence is noticeable but not aggressive. Quite bitter and lasting aftertaste. Dry, resiny full body.

Pours dark copper with a very small head. Aroma has fruits, hops. Citrus, hops, just that nice amount of bitterness. Not really any intruding taste of alcohol that would overcome the beer’s own taste, so in that way it’s just a damn fine beer!

Killer DIPA! Dark copper body with small wispy head. It gets better from here, nice hoppy, fruity nose, some apples. Taste brings the sting, followed by burn, some fruit juice essence, lots of bold choppiness, slightly dry finish. All around excellent brew.

(330 ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours a clear copper with a small fizzy white head and no lace, very active. Aroma resinous, mango, pineapple, a bit overripe, sweet lemon, dank wet vegetation, lots of caramel. Palate quite sweet with lots of caramel and a bit of breadiness to the malt, sweet orange, pineapple, some mango/pit fruit notes. Bitterness sort of creeps in later on, orange and lemon peel, touch of fresh pine and a little resin, drying alcohol too. Still pretty sweet in the finish but dry and astringent, lightly medicinal aftertaste that lingers a long time given the lack of bitterness apparent earlier. Hidden under the malt. Medium bodied with average carb. Mercifully fresh bottle from Systembolaget, very malt-forward for a DIPA and a little sweet for me. Quite bitter but a little too unbalanced, I would prefer less caramel and less bitterness needed to counteract it.

Amber, clear, with white head that disappears quickly. Aromas of resin, fruits, and some caramel. Full bodied with strong bitterness, and quite sweet, so I would never expect it has 150 IBU.

Aroma has a hint of caramel, nuts, roasty. Very hoppy with spruce and herbs. Golden color, clear and almost no head. Very bitter, full body, thick feel, flat, bitter and long finish. Very nice IPA.

Optik: schöne Kupferfarbe, wenig Schaum Aroma: vielfältige Fruchtaromen, Lakritz Geschmack: Frucht in allen Variationen, Fruchtgummi, Lakritz, im Abgang wahnsinnig und lang anhaltend bitter, leicht süß Absolute Empfehlung!

Une longueur en bouche incroyable, une note de pamplemousse, une amertume merveilleusement dosée, dans une belle robe. Pas de goût d’alcool trop marqué. Une merveille.

Dark copper body, medium head, moderately lasting. Nose is resinous wood, red wine, dark fruit, slightly toffee. Taste is fully sweet (caramel) rapidly rollercoasting to a strong herbal, licorice bitterness for a lasting bitter finish. Some alcohol warmth but hides the 9.2 ABV pretty decently. Thick and full-bodied. A complex and satisfying brew even if I would personally have a Punk IPA over this most of the times.
