This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottle @ NK Saluhall. Clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, honey, fruit. Flavour of hops, some fruit. Tried it alongside I Hardcore You, go for that one. Whatever Mikkeller did it improved this beer.

330ml bottle at home. Hoping to get one from the new brewery, but didn’t! Might re-rate when I do... Pours a lovely amber, head doesn’t last too well, but good. Low aroma, not much to grasp when taking a big sniff, nose deep in. Taste is where it’s at though, packed with sweet & bitter citrus flavours, so good. Finish is long, but borders on the sweet, with more orange. Always a good beer to try, especially in the bars, but this bottle not one of the best.

glennmastrange (2381) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, light to moderate herbs and pine for the hops, light soap for the yeast with date, toffee, green peppers and solvent in the background. Head is small, frothy, slightly off-white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy, medium amber/orange. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily with a soft to lively carbonation and a lightly astringent and dry yet sticky finish. This DIPA has a somewhat subdued hop profile , but the flavor is right on target and the palate is almost perfect.

Poured amber with a nice head and some lacing. Hops right up front with some spice. Taste is complex and well balanced with a nice bitter finish. A lot of IBUs, so the bitterness stays awhile. Well-made, great beer.

This is VERY Brewdog, all the complexity of flavour expected. Lots of pine, resin, orange and grapefruit swilling around the mouth all at once. Finishes fresh after a barley wine type sweetness. Great!

Corpo pieno, bassa carbonatazione. Explicitly HardCore!

Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. The look is clear, light beige colored head. The smell is hops, fruits, citrus, and pine. The taste is pine, hops ,bitterness, and citrus.

Orangy brown to the eye with elements of pine and buscuit. Reasonable big foamy head. Juicy sweet at the end. A raw edge is very much noticable in recent batches in place of the hop attack with some TCP. A brutal vice like plum smasher.

My favorite IIPA so far. Aroma is not outstanding but once you get your first sip, orange and pine bursts in the mouth.bitterness smacks your face. Sweetness? I can’t feel it but it must be there to calm this extraordinary beer. And the taste lasts and it lasts. I like U
