This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Hard Høst IPA. Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsdalen. Batch 261. Drukket i heimen 19 Nov 12. Gyldenbrun. Pent luftig skum som klamrer seg til glasset. Kjempegod aroma av frukt & bær. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken godt balansert. Tørket frukt. Aprikos & fersken. Blir raskt litt syrlig bitter. Innholdsrikt.

Amazing! The complex taste is overwhelming! Fruit, hops, bubblegum, pineapple even some smoke. The smell is amazing too and I just love the overall palate of this IPA. One of the best beers I ever drunk.

0.33 l bottle. Pours a deep amber colour with a thick white head. Fruity citrus, malts, hops and caramel aroma. Toffee, butter, orange flavour. Nice and warming with a wellrounded body and bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a cloudy dark dark orange with a thin beige head. Aroma is super fruity, tons of peach aroma, smooth citrus notes, some piney hop character and lots of toffee malt backbone, this smells awesome! Taste is quite amazing as well, toffee and peaches with a cleansing bitter finish that doesnt overpower, awesome creamy palate, this seriously is like a peach cobbler brew, one of my new favorite DIPAS.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 Bought in Norway under the name "Hard Høst IPA". This is one of the best IPAs I’ve tasted. It’s somewhat sweet with a lovely aroma of flowers and a clear golden appearance. It doesn’t feel as heavy as some of the other Imperial IPAs and the alcohol is nicely balanced. A great beer this one!

Bottle. Gift from Neko-chan. Sharp, almost harsh, citrus bitter aroma. Light copper, thin tan head. Creamy fruit initial; so malty and sweet in mid palate: concentrated & fortified peaches; smooth yet insistent bitter final with some alcohol warmth. Medium body. Has an overdone character (like a barley wine). Tasty stuff.

No Words to describe. Amazing. I belibe the hop mix is the same frOm punk IPA. Allthough it is much better. Less citrus, more body, bitter, stronger, as the Name says HARDCORE. Dont hesitate, try it.
