This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Amber colored beer. Bottle bought @ Bieradviseur Diepenbeek. Small white head. Massive aroma of citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. Nice dry hoppy taste. Again citrus, grapes and pineapple.

Amber color, hazy, white medium sized head slowly falling. Light to medium carbonation, medium body, oily, very long, strong bitter finish. Aroma: Strong aroma, aromatic hops, citrus, grapefruit, melon. Taste: At first soft malty sweetness, next citrus and melon from aromatic hops than high bitterness and acohol.

Appearance: lovely toffee orange colour with a small white head. Aroma: awesome cat piss, caramel, pine, orange peel, marmalade, smells wonderful. Flavour: Bitter, pine cone, rich mango, tons of hops, quite sweet but in a great way, tangy fruity finish. Alcohol barely detectable. Lovely.

Yorker (1466) - Herning, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2012
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours reddish amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is citrusy and resinous hops and some malt. Flavour is hoppy with hints of citrus and resin and some malty sweetness as well. Abv is quite well hidden and the finish is not particularly bitter.

manucorazzini (25) - Braine-L’Alleud, BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2012
dark amber with off white minimal foam. Nutty aromas with resinous notes from hops and faint alcohol. Full body, malt backbone, intense bitterness, a bit of oxidation.

Hardcore IPA On tap, cold, amber hue white head. Good lacing, sweet, not overly hoppy, had a caramelized onion type of finish, % didn't come through that much but could tell it was strong 3.8

HogTownHarry (6199) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2012
Draught at Brewdog Camden. Clear orange-amber with decent lasting creamy offwhite head. Smells of alcohol, fruity malt, a whisper of toasty nutshell, but mostly fresh perfume/floral lush fresh hops. Taste has more tangerine and hibiscus flower, with alcohol. Average body, decent catbonation, finishes fruity and dry with a turn toward booziness, but quite pleasant for all that. Nice one!

The aroma is quite hoppy as advertised but I have smelled more so. There is pine, citrus and a bit of metallic. The malt is super sweet and caramel like. The taste is like the aroma being overly hoppy but not quite astringent. The palate is smooth and right for the style. Overall a good example of the style but a bit to bitter for me.
