This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But donít feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

This is an excellent IPA with balanced aromas of pine and resin, and a flavor that is both bitter and sweet. The alcohol is mostly hidden in the rich, full palate. This IPA is very enjoyable and interesting. Highly recommended.

Dark hazy amber colour. Nice full body with strong citrus and malty aromas. Alcohol well hidden. Slight bitter finish. Incredible beer.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Bright copper colour with thin white head, insistent sparkle. Ominous aroma, pointing to the taste experience to come, resin hops, and some nice pine. Initial taste has a creamy malt, before giving way to bitter hops. And it is bitter, resinous, some pine, not so much floral or citrus, so I guess a fairly typical house character to the hopping (they are a bit samey these Brewdog beers, just different strengths). Finish is mostly nagging bitter, long but not preposterously so. Itís actually quite drinkable for its strength. Good, and I could have had a couple of these!

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head that laces well. Aroma is strong citrus, caramel, fruit, pine resin. Flavor same, medium sweet, quite bitter. Medium body, slick, oily in the mouth. Quite bitter finish.

Jak zawsze od BrewDoga. Solidna treść i nachmielenie. Extra mocne double IPA. Hardcore pasuje bardzo dobrze do tego IPA. Piana znika szybko. Przeszkadza tylko alkocholowy posmak, ale wytrawność od kilku odmian chmielu jednak bierze gůrę i to zdecydowanie.

Amber body, large off-white head, good lacing. Nose is fruity with grapefruit, orange, and some tropical notes complementing a noticeable malt profile. Flavor is similar with pale malts asserting themselves with the orange and grapefruit hop noted. Medium bodied, mellow carbonation, moderate bitterness in the finish.

Nuanced aroma has citrus, fruits, toffee. Clear amber, beige head big and long. Really tasty beer with character: citrus, toffee. Crisp, full, oily. Strong personality almost to personality disorder. Flavor fireworks.

Bottled @ Hop aroma and dark gold color. Start was unexpected sweet and malt, the bitter continue almost at the end of tail. Tail was very long and dry. Good experience but individually itís not the most bitter taste. Sometime 70IBU have bitter feel of taste in mouth.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2014 Bottle shared with McTapps. A strange one but definitely a quality beer. Pours in light brown with huge stable head. Aromas of toffee, alcohol, hops and sweets. Taste is complex, a mix of different aromas but the finish is a nice one. First bitter, then sweet. Crazy beer.
