This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bouteille de 330ml. Batch 160.

0,33 l. bottle, batch # 275. Hazy amber colour with a dense off-white head. Aroma is malty with caramel notes, intensive hoppy with notes of herbs, fruits, grapefruits and more. Taste is light malty - chocolate, light sweetness with notes of candy and fruit, intensive hopped (bitter hop extracts, grapefruits) and notes of alcohol in the finish. Bitter, very dry finish. Excellent beer.

Maybe i don’t like the most of the DIPA on the market and i don’t get the Brewdog beers sometimes; or just the bottle was not so fresh as it should be. Anyway i didn’t like the Hardcore IPA that much. Copper color, white head. Weak hop aroma and a lot of biscuit and malt on the palate. Really bitter but the malt (tons of malt i mean) works well to balance the whole thing. DIPA? ASA? BW? doesn’t matter, Not my stuff...

Bottle 33cl. A clear amber colour with a high, good lacing, off-white head. An aroma of malt, hops, caramel and citrus (grapefruit). The taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a long finish.

Cloudy orange sugar cane paste colour with tan head. On the aroma is sweet, hopy together with caramel hints. Medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness on the taste, caramel and sugar cane hints, alcoholic level is present (good flavour but where is the hardcore part?). Medium body, oily feel, average carbonation and a dry and a bit more bitter finish. Ok.

Not great when it’s not fresh but it’s turned into a nicely bitter barley wine - tasty tasty ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mane Liquor, pours a deep copper colour. Aroma is of citrus, taste is far better resin, spice, caramel, citrus and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. I wouldn’t of been able to tell it was 9.2% if i hadn’t read it on the label.
