This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But donít feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottled @ Hop aroma and dark gold color. Start was unexpected sweet and malt, the bitter continue almost at the end of tail. Tail was very long and dry. Good experience but individually itís not the most bitter taste. Sometime 70IBU have bitter feel of taste in mouth.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2014 Bottle shared with McTapps. A strange one but definitely a quality beer. Pours in light brown with huge stable head. Aromas of toffee, alcohol, hops and sweets. Taste is complex, a mix of different aromas but the finish is a nice one. First bitter, then sweet. Crazy beer.

Bottle bought alias "Tesco Finest American Double IPA" and shared with MichaelBruch. Nice amber in colour, strong head. Aroma of oranges and hops, very fruity and spicy. Taste is a very strong one, one of lots of alcohol and spicy orange as a fair hint. Too bitter and dry finish for me.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2014 Bottle from Tesco. Copper beer with small head. Aroma of grapefruit and sweet malts. Taste is grapefruit, pine resin, fruity and a hop bitter finish. Very nice beer.

Iíve changed my mind about this beer, I no longer liken it to drinking liquid stinging nettles though it does bite the back of your throat before the malty taste kicks in. I now find it quite delicious - masses of hops hide the thick fruity taste of the pretty decent beer underneath and the aftertaste is sublime, wow! Iím laying a few bottles down to try in 5 years time.

Good double IPA. Not as strong as I would have liked. Good balance of fruit and bitter, fiz and foam, but not the best.

Sentore di dry hopping molto forte come piace a me, ma líamaro Ť troppo persistente per i miei gusti. Un poco meno frizzantezza non avrebbe guastato ma nulla di terribile, molto buona lo stesso.

Amber colored beer. Bottle bought @ Bieradviseur Diepenbeek. Small white head. Massive aroma of citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. Nice dry hoppy taste. Again citrus, grapes and pineapple.

Amber color, hazy, white medium sized head slowly falling. Light to medium carbonation, medium body, oily, very long, strong bitter finish. Aroma: Strong aroma, aromatic hops, citrus, grapefruit, melon. Taste: At first soft malty sweetness, next citrus and melon from aromatic hops than high bitterness and acohol.

Appearance: lovely toffee orange colour with a small white head. Aroma: awesome cat piss, caramel, pine, orange peel, marmalade, smells wonderful. Flavour: Bitter, pine cone, rich mango, tons of hops, quite sweet but in a great way, tangy fruity finish. Alcohol barely detectable. Lovely.
