4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled. Slightly hazy, ruby-amber colour with a minimal off-white head. Hoppy pine aroma with a bit less citrus and more malt than its Punk little brother. A touch of bubblegum too. Syrup-thick in the mouth with a bubblegum sweetness to start, moving to yeasty/bready flavours, then a dry finish. Really good balance of flavours and mouthfeel. Excellent.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at home. Pours hazzy orange/blond. Aroma is fresh hops, citrus, grapefruit, caramel, and sweet sugar. Taste comes with a huge bitterness with citrus and grapefruit and the sweet taste of caramel. Balanced beer but the punk ipa is a bit better

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2013 Aroma: Strong, really fruity, sweet
Appear: deep copper colour, nice thick head slightly creamy
Taste: Fruity, sweet, I seem to taste a bit of cinnamon. Has a kind of slight spirit hit and bitter finish. Very strong in all departments. Kind of like wine but beer, in which case you might prefer a glass of wine?..
I was put off really strong beers trying special brew years ago. But this is certainly a re education on the super strength beer front. And one Iíd enjoy at the end of a night. Maybe other times as well :-)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Clear dark orange to copper brown beer with a huge head leaving a permanent layer and lacing on the glass. Hoppy aromas of pines, resin and exotic fruits typical to BrewDog beers and also hints of alcohol. Taste begins with pines and goes on to a sweeter taste, first caramelly malty, then salty licoricy and leaving an almost sugary sweet taste to mouth. Medium to thick mouthfeel, not as much bitterness as I expected.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark amber beer with small head. Smell is great, because itís very intensive tropical fruits. In taste itís the same: heavy bitter and light sweet. Hardcore IPA is full body with long finish, but alcohol is a little bit too strong in palate.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 21, 2013 Bottle. Clear orange with an average, frothy, mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, pine, grapefruit, hoppy, resin. Flavor is heavy malty sweet and hoppy bitter, kinda salty, lots of caramel (too much IMHO). Body is medium, texture is oily. Finish is very dry, hoppy, salty, sugary.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours dark amber and hazy. 1 finger of off-white head reduces quickly with very little lacing. The nose is sweet and grassy with some pine, citrus fruit and I think hints of apple and/or maybe grape too. Itís nice and fruity to taste with good hoppiness. More tropical fruits in the mouth than citrus, pine is there too. Itís sweet and boozy and hoppy. Finish is long and the bitter, grasspy hop aroma lingers. For me the booze manages to fight and keep the hops in check quite well so this is a pretty blanced beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Head: light beige, medium, frothy to creamy, avg. retention. Colour: copper.
Aroma: intense, starts grapefruit and pineapple, then goes piney and resiny, caramel arrives too.
Taste: caramel, citrus, both drown in a 150 high wave of bitterness.
A strong IIPA.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep slightly hazey orange. Aroma is sweet toffee caramel and earthy lemongrass. Overall way too sweet for my taste.
