This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

It smells like a fruity pool, tempting you do dive in. Once you taste it you want more. It tastes more like a mead.

Aroma of malt and mild hops. Apperance is crystal clear caramel. Taste caramel, alcohol, vanilla, sweet. Nice sweet, mild hops and alcohol finish. Body is medium. Overall: Probably one of the best iipa i have tried! Great use of hops!

Smells like a barley wine, golden blonde appearance, wouldn’t call this an outstanding ale, nothing to go out of your way to get.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2014 I first tried to spare a couple of years ago when i first started to get into craft beer. Back then it was a shock to the system, I rated it 1-3-4-3-(8). Now after trying many craft beers it is time to give it another go. The aroma is amazing fresh hops, citrus, lime, and tropical fruits. It’s a beautiful colour in a glass very little carbonation the whay there is a spot on. A gorgeous sharp bitter taste, sweet and well balanced. Not easy to drink, but just right. A sipper. A real bargain at £1.99 per bottle.

Color ámbar oscuro, espuma marfil densa y generosa. Aromas afrutados, lupulo y ligeramente alcohol. En boca entra dulce, azúcar tostado, y acaba con un amargor ansiado equilibrado y muy agradable. En general, muy recomendable.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2015 First rate 23/06/13. Clear amber/dark orange colour, off-white foamy head. Tropical fruity hops but nicely resinous too, adding to a firm hoppy bitterness; malty base is too light imo but nicely sweet and creamy; good alcoholic, boozy warmth. Good body (could be better with a firmer malty backbone), medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a frothy white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is rich malty hop leading to a medium to strong alcohol inspired bitter flavour with liqourice and resin on the palate. If I’m honest, I prefer the Punk IPA. I think the alcohol controls this beer and the liqourice/bitter flavour dominates too much.

Keg at the crown and anchor. Pours a deep amber with a slightly off white head. Nice tropical fruit, hoppy aroma. A big funky, hoppy, earthy, rich fruity flavour. Sweet and not too bitter though its there. The booze isn't overbearing and it's well balanced. Yep, good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

color: dark brown tried by 7 degree: smells fruity and harmless but in the mouth the maltbomb exlodes. very intensive malty taste, bitter at the finish, and tha sweet malt taste stays very long in the throat.
