3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average, firm, frothy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Heavy piney aroma with a touch of honey, lemon zest. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, pine, resin, a touch of citrus, but mainly really bitter hoppy; minimally biting bitter hoppy finish. Very drinkable, almost light, for its high abv.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from the bottle. Amber with a medium off-white head; aroma of pine and zesty citrus with just a modest whiff of alcohol; firm-bodied, assertive citric bitterness; quite drinkable for its high abv with a lingering tingling finish

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. Best before 29/05/13.
Pours amber with a 1 finger off white head.
Pretty much no aroma at all. Some malt, faint hops but mostly some sweet candy/bubblegum and lavender notes at the end.
Taste has mostly sweet malt, some bitter hops and prominent alcohol.
Sticky mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Short bitter after taste.
Is this bottle old or is it something else? Not well balanced at all, malt and alcohol are the prominent elements in this DIPA. Where did all the hops go?

Color is amber with small orangish head. Smell is amazing it’s so fruity... passion fruit, tangerine, lavender, citrus, pine apple and many more... Taste is grapefruit, hops ... its so complexed but well balanced. Amazing beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is an excellent IPA with balanced aromas of pine and resin, and a flavor that is both bitter and sweet. The alcohol is mostly hidden in the rich, full palate. This IPA is very enjoyable and interesting. Highly recommended.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Sainsburys. Bright copper colour with thin white head, insistent sparkle. Ominous aroma, pointing to the taste experience to come, resin hops, and some nice pine. Initial taste has a creamy malt, before giving way to bitter hops. And it is bitter, resinous, some pine, not so much floral or citrus, so I guess a fairly typical house character to the hopping (they are a bit samey these Brewdog beers, just different strengths). Finish is mostly nagging bitter, long but not preposterously so. It’s actually quite drinkable for its strength. Good, and I could have had a couple of these!

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Jak zawsze od BrewDoga. Solidna treść i nachmielenie. Extra mocne double IPA. Hardcore pasuje bardzo dobrze do tego IPA. Piana znika szybko. Przeszkadza tylko alkocholowy posmak, ale wytrawność od kilku odmian chmielu jednak bierze górę i to zdecydowanie.
