Cask @ Bon Accord. Very happy to find this here, well done! Amber colour, off white head. Aroma is sweet malty, flowery hops, pine and grapefruit. Flavour is pine hops, sweet malty, grapefruits. This typical taste of sticky pine hops also found in Sink the Bismark. Fairly bitter finish. Well done!

Several cases from BDog online. Good looking darkish amber pour, with a decent sized white head. Beautiful resinous hop laden snout with big olí fruity notes that lulls you into the confident and warm belief that this is going to be a cracker of a glag. The flavour is no let down, sweet malt, hops and fruit all mingle supremely in harmony. The balance between sweetness and bitterness here is just flawless. Bloody awesome stuff, and ticks all boxes in the area, then does a celebratory backflip and comes back and ticks some more. A world class example of the style and one I hope to keep going back to.

Pours hazy brown orange with a medium tan head and good retention. A;roma is citrus hops with caramel malts and a nice alcohol bite. Well stated with a nice spice note. Flavor is bittersweet, but smooth with lots of resiny hops. Long somewhat citrusy finish. Very well balanced and pretty damn good.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Haze dark amber ale, with a off-white head. Citrus aroma (grapefruit) from hops, with malty, alcoholic, herbal, wood and light peaty hints.
Moderate sweet taste with a strong bitter end. Rather long mouthfeel and average body. A great beer, extreme but balanced.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle served at Canceyís Brewdog dinner.:
Poured a hazed amber color with a 2 finger tight cap that laces well.
Fantastic aroma: Big Big PacNW aroma Citrus, Pine, Mango over a substantial malt profile that gives a roast-toffee aroma.
Remarkable palance between layed hopping and malts...mid palate the complexity hits for a seconf then down a long bittering spiral to the finish that ends with a massive hop bite.
Very decent big IPA

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle badged as Tescoís Finest American Double IPA. DIPAís; the vindaloo of the beer world. Tawny brown colour. Smells very strongly of orange peel, passion fruit and tangerines. The smell is a little off-putting making me think of bathroom cleaning products. First taste now. Wow, I donít find this repulsive. Iím really surprised. Toasted orange peel seems to dominate along with juniper. Actually, itís quite gin-like. Thereís some astringency and a quite nettley hop bite to it. The finish is superb; a kind of juicy-fruit explosion that leaves the sides of my tongue buzzing and half a second later Iím salavating like mad and desperate to get another mouthful. I certainly wouldnít know it was 9.2%. Unlike most wine-strength beers this didnít get syrupy towards the end; in fact it got more drinkable. Iím pleasantly surprised by this as itís not my usual type of beer at all.

Bottle from Shortys Liquor. Pours a dark orange with a large off white head. Aroma is full on piney hops, plenty of grapefruit as well. Flavour is much the same, with the big dominant hop followed by a sweet caramel malt and a slight bit of heat from the alcohol. Quite nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle served in a BrewDog Teku Glass. Pours to a clear ruby / amber colour with a crothy cream head. Aroma is a very fresh in your face hop with citrus, pine and a hint of caramel. In the mouth it is lightly carbonated and slightly oily. The taste is initially slightly sweet and malty. This fades to release the huge bitter hop flavour.A little too much bittering hops for me, but still very enjoyable.
