This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Wonderfully unfiltered. Creamy white head with texture and mouth feel to match. Grapefruit came through first, next bitter, followed up by a malty, honey-like finish. The aroma I get is grapefruit. The change in tasting notes balances out the alcohol, even at a hefty 9.2. I prefer less sweet, but it’s a double IPA. There is complexity here. The bitter and sweet really play off each other. It’s big and intense.

Deep amber with a off-white head. Very rich with tonnes of pine, tropical fruits, vanilla, wood. A long bitter ending that lingers, but still is well balanced against the body.

330ml bottle disguised as tesco finest American double IPA. Very nice tropical fruit aroma on open and pour gives way to a blast of boozy alcohol. Taste is again, for an instant beautifully bitter/sweet and rounded, but very quickly the bitterness asserts itself and leaves one’s tongue begging for mercy. Piney and harsh un-varnished wood aroma, with antiseptic levels of mouth drying bitterness. For me, unbalanced and confused. Did not finish.

3/5 i mörkhet. Väldigt humlig i doften. Humlig, söt och besk i smaken med en liknande eftersmak.

This one has me excited. Bought a a Tesco, which seems wrong when talking of good beer, but lets not be snobs. A - Strong malt, with incredible amounts of citrus A - Bright orange with thin white head T - A touch sour, which is overtaken by strong bitter and alcohol P - Full to medium and a touch on the sharp side O - This is a great beer, not the best North American IPA, but a really good representation

From the bottle it poured a golden orange of decent thickness. Hops dominate the flavor; malt dominates the smell. Somewhat fruity and very smooth for 9.2%. Bitter.
