This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But donít feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Cloudy orange sugar cane paste colour with tan head. On the aroma is sweet, hopy together with caramel hints. Medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness on the taste, caramel and sugar cane hints, alcoholic level is present (good flavour but where is the hardcore part?). Medium body, oily feel, average carbonation and a dry and a bit more bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle from Mane Liquor, pours a deep copper colour. Aroma is of citrus, taste is far better resin, spice, caramel, citrus and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. I wouldnít of been able to tell it was 9.2% if i hadnít read it on the label.

Bottle from Alko. Hardcore IPA is a beer worth itís name but not all in positive things. Very hoppy as youíd imagine but quite alcoholic and a bit harsh too. Iíve definitely had better ~10% DIPAís.

Strong flavor, many syrupy malts with a sharp bite. The hops are constant all the way around. Major alcohol strength. Delicious but strong, drink carefully

A - Pours a rich copper-red color with a finger of frothy slightly off white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malts, lots of citrus hops, a bit of bready smells, some pine hops, and a bit of booze. Nice balance. T - Starts off with a nice kick of citrus hops with some nice bitterness and some rich sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some piney hops come through with some more bitterness and some bready flavors with a hint of booze. The finish is a mix of some good hop flavor, bitterness, rich sweet malts, and some booze that lingers. M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a bit of a warming and syrupy feeling. D - Very drinkable. Fairly smooth for the high abv. I like the big bold flavor and the bit of booze flavor that kicks in at the end works well.

Bottle. Slightly hazy deep amber, with a solid, though short lived, offwhite head. Left is a ring with an island floating in the middle of the glass, with a sticky skyline around the edge of the glass. The aroma is pretty massive right off the bat, even when served cold. Tons of citrus, juicy light fruits, and caramel. Standard IPA fare, and since I love IPAs, this is enticing indeed. A bit too big on the caramel and sugary malts in the flavour department for my liking, but itís well balanced. Mid to light bodied, lively carbonation. A bit of alcohol shows in the finish, otherwise itís really well masked. Well crafted IIPA, but not my favourite. Iíve had it tons of times too, not sure why I havenít rated it before.

Pours a clear amber colour, lighter on the bottom. Average carbonation, with a light bone-coloured head with small bubbles. I really loved the aroma, smell of tea leaves or something close, hops, with hints of sweet, could be caramel - and alcohol. Taste is very close to what the aroma suggested, with a little more floral and slightly spicy notes. I could feel my throat burning as it went down, and that was the only advice the alcohol gave me. Left me with a pleasant sensation, very clean and dry, still wanting more, to tell the truth. A masterpiece.
